Welcome to Destiny, now here's your host, Cliff Dunning.

So last week, I let the cat out of the bag regarding the Noah's Ark formation in Turkey, Mount Ararat location, just below the foothills. And a lot of people responded and said, well, you know, this Christian broadcasting network is spending what appears to be hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring in new equipment, not only ground-penetrating radar, but scanning equipment that can detect wood and other natural material. Well, this is already done, as I mentioned in that program by David Fashold almost 30 years ago.

And he was curious himself. And by the way, if you haven't had a chance to look at the graphic, the hand-drawn image of the boat that he thought was a boat, you can go to Facebook and see it there. It's yellow paper now, but it shows his detailed investigations of what he thought was a boat. Now, the thing is, he was looking at a aerial shot, taken in 1959, of this landform that has a very distinct shape of a boat. But as we've heard from everyone from Paso to Irving Finkel, it's not the Noah's Ark. And I don't know how people are gonna react to the Christian Broadcasting Network's constant promotion of this spectacle, because I guess they're taking in donations and money, to pay for additional imagery, imaging. Now, the latest imaging that they have come up with is what they think are pockets of space, could be rooms, could be space created by water at one time.

We don't know.

It's funny though, because if you go to UK Daily, the online newspaper, they have gone forward with some huge speculations that this is an actual ship of some kind. The problem with that is that Fassel was very astute in his observation as a underwater scavenger, as a sea scavenger who specializes in boats. And he found nothing compelling in this formation that would identify it as a boat. In fact, they didn't spend money for carbon dating, but they did spend a little bit of money on scans, on surface scans. This is Cliff, your host of Destiny. And I can appreciate the potential of it.

I can appreciate people thinking that it was Noah's Ark. But if you've listened to anything or any comments by Irving Finkel, who's a seriologist and a cuneiform expert, in fact, I've had him on the program about three times. The first time was his opinion of Zechara Sitchin's interpretation of cuneiforms and the Anunnaki, the question of Anunnaki, for which he said very politely that Sitchin got the interpretations wrong.

Which I knew Sitchin, I knew him well enough to have dinner with him when his wife was alive and then when his wife passed away, we had dinner. He came out to San Francisco, I think at least three times, maybe four. This was in the late 1990s, early 2000s. And gave talks on the Anunnaki.

And the books like The Tenth Planet to Stanley Ruhl only. You know, he had a thousand people paying to hear him. But it wasn't until years after he had passed that the interpretation of these cuneiform, these clay tablets was more well-read and interpretations were much more solid. And a lot of what he thought were aliens, an alien craft was something entirely different. So when Finkel was looking at the ship that the character, and it's not Noah, it's the character like Noah in these historical records, the ship wasn't, the boat that they described is more rounded or square. It wasn't like a ship we see today with a pointed front or back was much, much different, much, much unique. In fact, I am posting a couple of photographs of what Finkel believed that Noah's Ark actually looked like. And it's kind of strange looking. It's like a box. And apparently they were seaworthy. They could float, they could travel for great distances. And I think the reason that they made it in a box was because of the reeds. They didn't have, they didn't use wood per se. They use heavy reeds, interior ribs were wood, but not the outer side. So if you want to see a picture of that, you can go to Facebook and look under Cliff Dunning or Earth Ancients, which makes it kind of interesting. So I'm sorry to say that the ground feature, the geological feature is not a petrified ship. It's just a feature that looks like a ship. It's kind of cool. By the way, The Ark of Noah by David Fastwell is a fascinating read. It's still available. I found it on Amazon. You can get it for about five bucks. It's, you had to get used copies because it's been out of print for a good 10 years. But when he was in San Francisco at our conference in 1993, his slides were just fascinating, just wonderful. And they actually dug around the front of this ship. And the other thing that's curious is they found close by these what they thought were anchors. As it turned out, they're actually markers. And you can see a picture of David standing next to one of these huge half-ton rock markers that look like they could be weights. So we don't know. It's a curious thought.
