This episode is brought to you by Boar's Head. There's turkey, and then there's the fryer's deep fried turkey breast. New from Boar's Head. Deliciously golden fried on the outside, perfectly seasoned all the way through, bursting with savory flavor. Juicy. Okay, I need to stop. My mouth is watering. This isn't just any turkey. It's a taste that will take you back. A taste born from a backyard tradition. I'm talking fold out chairs on the lawn, neighbors catching a whiff and popping their heads over the fence, kids being told to stand back, that feeling of the first slice being carved. And now you don't need a backyard fryer. You can get that same golden juicy seasoned to perfection taste at the deli.

With the fryer's deep fried turkey breast. Discover the craftsmanship behind every bite at your local Boar's Head Deli. Boar's Head, committed to craft since 1905

Hello, you're listening to Footballing Hell with...

Josh Widdicombe (1:48)

We haven't got one.

Rob Beckett (1:49)

Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe. How's it going, Josh?

Josh Widdicombe (1:51)

Come on, guys. Come on. We've got them coming in now, haven't we?

Rob Beckett (1:54)

We've got them coming out of our fucking ear holes, mate. Everyone's just been busy, haven't they, in the Nations League to send them back.

Josh Widdicombe (2:01)

Of course. Of course.

Rob Beckett (2:03)

Josh, I am at the end of my tether.

Josh Widdicombe (2:06)

With the international break.

Rob Beckett (2:08)

It's an absolute sham. Talk about the word sham. I can't believe it's still going on at this moment in time now. It's Monday, the 5th of October. There's fuck all until Saturday and it's a piss take.

It's three weeks. It's fucking insane. Everyone hates it.

It's not even a money reason. All the best money comes through the top leagues anyway. No one gives a fuck about it. I watched England play Croatia in front of 7,000 school children for a reason I still don't understand. It was like watching football. We played in front of Zippo's fucking circus. Fuck it off. Let's get back to the Premier League now.

Josh Widdicombe (2:46)

It feels like you might have been listening also to too many hours of Cundi and O'Hara.

Rob Beckett (2:51)

No, not at all. I've not got. There's nothing for them to talk about. Nothing's happened.

Josh Widdicombe (2:55)

That's not stopped them before.

Rob Beckett (2:56)

This morning on Talksport, Ali McQuist was talking about the winner of a rally driving race in Sardinia.

Now, if that doesn't tell you no one cares about international football, nothing will. It's a fucking disgrace and it has to stop. But I need a moralistic reason for this. Basically, the smaller nations can't compete with the bigger nations because the squads aren't big enough, so they suffer over three weeks. That's my moral reason. Now, let's just fucking scrap it.

Josh Widdicombe (3:22)

I don't think that's good enough.

Rob Beckett (3:23)

Craig Bellamy said it.

Josh Widdicombe (3:25)

Did he?

Rob Beckett (3:25)

Yeah, about Wales, because they keep losing. I think he's saying his squad's not big enough. It's not fair.

Josh Widdicombe (3:31)

But that's how it works.

Rob Beckett (3:32)

Well, yeah, exactly. If you're a small nation, a small nation, either join the UK.

Josh Widdicombe (3:36)

That's the absolute romance of international football.

Rob Beckett (3:39)

Here's an idea for you, Wales. Just join England. I know you don't want to, but you might mark bigger chance in tournaments. Just saying it.

Josh Widdicombe (3:45)

I don't think it would make any difference, would it?

Rob Beckett (3:47)

And that's a double slam to Wales, actually.

Josh Widdicombe (3:53)

The talk of the United Great Britain team has really gone downhill since Gareth Bale's career ended.

Rob Beckett (3:58)

Yeah, that really got talked out for the Olympics, didn't it?

Josh Widdicombe (4:03)

I don't think anyone wants a group for Great Britain team.

Rob Beckett (4:08)

No, I don't.

Josh Widdicombe (4:09)

I actually, I don't know what Craig Burnaby said, but it's not a bad time to be a small nation because the tournaments are getting bigger and bigger. The opportunities are getting bigger and bigger.
