Okay, so I'm gonna string this thread here. These are the two like news items, right? Now this has come out from a B tier, so it's not confirmed. So Taylor is already doing fucking backflips. He's like, oh, Mason Thames, he's cast, I'm winning, this is my year. Taylor, if you're listening to this, you gotta calm down. But this has come out from a B tier, so someone's got a lot of stuff, right? But not 100%, and it's not solidified, not official. And I guess I should get the, there's like a full cast listing, but what the issue is with this is, so I don't know if you even remember this, because I feel like this is the movie that is always forgotten is the dynamic duo movie. Do you know this movie? I'm sure you've seen some stuff, but do you know what this is?

That's what I mean. So I don't know if you recall this, well, maybe you will when I describe it, that Gun, you know, DCU, we'll see if it's in the canon, which I'll get to in a second, but they're making us like a Robin, like a Nightwing Red Hood animated movie that was like a mix of like animation and puppets and stuff. Do you remember this is always ringing a bell?

Yeah, so anyways, here's the thing that's kind of interesting about it.

So right now, the rumors are that Mason Thames would be playing Nightwing. There's a guy that I don't know who is he. Logan Kim would be playing Jason Todd. And then Chris Pine would be playing Batman. And then Lee Pace would actually be playing Red Hood 1

The reason that is a big deal is because Red Hood 1 becomes the Joker. So you got that going on. Now, obviously, these are just voices. And then there's who's the woman in the lady cast is Barbara Gordon is Marisa Martin set to voice Barbara Gordon. I don't know who that is. But so it's a mix of animation. The reason I'm bringing this in, why people have talked about this and this came from a someone that they put this thing in a Reddit scoop and then they deleted it. This came out like a long time ago, like an April person being like, hey, I know what the project is and I know who the actors are. They got them all right. They're talking about Lee Pace possibly being Red Hood or Joker, Mason Thames playing Dick Grayson. They said a talented young Asian actors, cast is Jason Todd who's been cast as a young Asian actor. Hopefully, he's talented. I've never seen his work. But so the reason I'm bringing this all up is you may be like, okay, yeah, cool. Some cool names, animation, whatnot. This has come up multiple times where, okay, some of the James Gunn said James Gunn has says on the DCU, but it's never been fully clarified. And the reason I'm bringing it up is because this person, like all these castings, right? When they put this back out in April ish, that they said that this was the quote, the rumor said the project's canon status is still undecided, but it being DCU is a big possibility. So that's what I wanted to ask you is, okay, if this is like an anime thing, I think, okay, that's cool. That's fine. Let's say now all this would be a super weird way to meet our new Batman, our new Joker, our Robin, but hey, maybe experimental at the same time, maybe Chris Pine is already cast and he's going to pop up in something else. What would you think of if, let's say, this is a reality where this is going to be connected to DCU, because the idea was it's Jason Todd and Dick Grayson going on an adventure. Two Batman sidekicks are going on an adventure, getting into, I don't know, trouble. I don't know what the they're getting into. Mason Thames, you remember who Mason Thames is, right?

So how would you feel about, I guess it's Chris Pine. How would you feel if, let's say, classic gun, he's trying to play things close to chess, he's lying about some stuff, but this does end up being DCU. How do you feel about Chris Pine being Batman? Because he would fit the mold as far as, we've heard he's going to be an older Batman, because he's supposed to have a kid, right? He's going to have the bat family, so he's been around to train these sidekicks, assailants, whatever. How would you feel about Chris Pine as the DC Batman next to Coren Sweat?
