Not Married To This with Serena & Joe

October 8, 2026

Chris Harrison’s new show The Vow may be in the business of finding love, but it looks like Warner Bros tv isn’t in love with the show’s trailer. Looks like Fox Nation has been served with a cease and desist! Joe and Serena hold mock court and battle it out between the networks!

Serena (0:01)

Hi, I'm Joe.

Joe (0:02)

And I'm Serena.

Serena (0:03)

Wait, no, sorry, I'm not married to that.

Joe (0:05)

That was really stupid.

Serena (0:06)

Let's try this one again.

Joe (0:08)

Hi, I'm Joe.

Serena (0:09)

And I'm Serena.

Joe (0:10)

And this is Not Married To This.

Serena (0:12)

Okay, Joe, my show's about to start.

Welcome back to a solo, I feel like I just really shouted that one. Let me go again. Welcome back to a solo episode of Not Married To This. Today, we are breaking down Chris Harrison's Cease & Desist, Dancing With The Stars drama, and that Brian Austin green video. But first, we're going to do a little catch up. Hi, Joe.

Joe (0:36)

Hi.

Serena (0:36)

How are you doing?

Joe (0:37)

I'm good. How are you doing?

Serena (0:39)

Good. I feel like we look so cutie in our preppy back to school fall outfits.

Joe (0:46)

We are very much dressed back to school.

Serena (0:48)

Right? We've got the collars, we've got those knits, you're wearing a little sweater vest.

Joe (0:53)

Well, I'm doing Hulu's Get Real after this. That's why I'm dressed more like I'm going back to school.

Serena (1:01)

Dressed to impress.

Joe (1:02)

Yeah. I love it. Leave the beginning in.

Serena (1:07)

What? What part?

Joe (1:08)

The you screwing up. Okay.

I want to let people in. I want people to see what this podcast really is.

Serena (1:15)

You want to break that fourth wall?

Joe (1:16)

I do. Okay. Let's see how it does.

Serena (1:19)

Okay.

How was Chicago? You just got back yesterday.

Joe (1:22)

It was great seeing my niece. She was in the NICU for almost seven weeks.

And she's, yeah, she's really cute. But my brother's just like a maniac. Like he's like, he's like, feed her, feed her. And Sydney's going, please. He's uncomfortable. He's going, I don't care. He's got to learn. Feed her. And then I'm like, and then I'm-

Serena (1:48)

Didn't you say you walked in, he like threw the baby in you at your arms, basically? Like here, hold your knees.

Joe (1:54)

Yeah, yeah. And then Sydney's going, hold her head, hold her head. And I'm like panicking.

Serena (1:59)

Is she the smallest baby you've ever held? You held Rocco when he was pretty new as well.

Joe (2:06)

Yeah. It's probably like the, I would say third or fourth.

Serena (2:12)

Third or fourth what?

Joe (2:13)

Smallest baby I've ever held. You know?

Serena (2:17)

Yeah. So you're gonna be a pro soon.

Joe (2:20)

I think it takes 24 hours to figure out. Like when, I think like, it's like you said, what did you do?

Oh, what are you laughing at?

Serena (2:34)

Nothing. Continue. Continue. Where are you going with this? Okay.

Joe (2:38)

Do you know?

Serena (2:39)

Do you know where you're going with this?

Joe (2:40)

The saying, the saying, being thrown into the wolf's den, right? I feel like that's, with a baby, that like, that's just what happens. Like you get handed your baby and then it's like, if you don't know what you're doing, you're going to figure it out.

Serena (2:57)

Yeah. Well, you don't really have a choice. So Chicago was good.

Joe (3:00)

Yeah. Chicago was, Chicago was great.

Serena (3:05)

You seemed really happy when I FaceTimed you, like maybe the happiest I've seen you in a while.

Joe (3:12)

I was golfing.

Serena (3:13)

Because you're golfing.

Joe (3:14)

So this was the first time I've golfed since pre-surgery.

Serena (3:19)

It's the first time you traveled too. First time you're on a plane.

Joe (3:20)

Yeah. The plane, you know, obviously everyone's like, can you handle the pressure of a plane?

I wasn't really affected at all.

Serena (3:33)

Yeah. I was really curious to know how that was going to go, just especially takeoff and landing.

Joe (3:38)

Honestly, my biggest complaint about the airplane was that I was in the window. I was the window seat and that's very uncomfortable.

Serena (3:47)

You texted me that you were in the aisle seat.

Joe (3:49)

I meant window.

Serena (3:50)

Yeah, I know.

Joe (3:50)

I meant window.

Serena (3:51)

Because you don't like a window seat and you're like, I'm so annoyed. I'm in the aisle. And I was like, well, don't you typically like an aisle? You're like, yeah, I way prefer an aisle. I was like, I'm going to read between the lines here and assume he meant to say window.

Joe (4:01)

Yeah. And I will say Starlink, which is the Wi-Fi like Elon Musk's Wi-Fi, like SpaceX Wi-Fi.

It's on United flights now and it is better than the Internet in our home.
