**Dan Lines** (0:00)
You ready to rock? Hey, this is Dan Lines.
**Conor Bronsdon** (0:03)
And this is Conor Bronsdon. And we're the hosts of The Dev Interrupted Podcast.
**Dan Lines** (0:08)
I'm actually the host, Conor's just the fill-in.
**Conor Bronsdon** (0:11)
Look, I like to think I'm the Robin to your Batman, okay? I'm the Johnny-come-lately, but I think it's working out great.
**Dan Lines** (0:16)
I think it's working out awesome.
One of our favorite things about the pod is that it gives us a chance to connect with so many amazing engineering leaders.
It's been incredible to watch the Dev Interrupted community grow, and that's why we're so proud of Interact. In fact, if you're listening to this and you're listening to us right now, go and register for Interact. It's today, October 25th, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. PST, West Coast time. And Conor, can you tell the audience a bit about why Interact is a must-attend event?
**Conor Bronsdon** (0:55)
I mean, I could go on about the incredible sessions that you're doing, but instead I'm going to talk about everything else that's happening at the event, because I completely agree. Interact should not be missed.
We've been joined by 27 speakers from companies like Slack, Stripe, Shopify, Atlassian, CircleCI, blockchain.com, and many, many more. Plus, we'll have more than 2,000 engineering leaders joining us in the audience, all with the opportunity to network and build their careers, hear from the other incredible engineering leaders in attendance, have deep conversations, and explore unique engineering challenges and opportunities just like we do on this podcast.
Dan, you and I both have a chance to moderate some incredible panels. You actually have a live podcast, which I'm excited to hear about. And I'm particularly excited about the two panels I got to do, I gotta say. So one is Treating Devs Like Human Beings. We're starting off with that. It's the first session with Kelly Vaughn, Spot AI, also famous on Twitter. Gene, VP of Engineering at Range, and Lena Reinhart, an incredible engineering coach. That one turned out great. And then we're closing with another panel I did, Leading Uncertain Times with incredible leaders from CircleCI, blockchain.org, and Oliver Wyman. But I gotta say, I think the session I might be most excited for, Dan, is your podcast with Charity Majors, who I know is one of our favorite guests on the show.
**Dan Lines** (2:05)
Yeah, Charity's super, super awesome, high energy, super smart, has been on our pod before.
**Conor Bronsdon** (2:11)
Swear a little bit.
**Dan Lines** (2:12)
Yeah, it swears a little bit. Every time you listen to Charity, you, like two things happen. You learn something, and you feel more energized to be in our industry, do something amazing, improve your engineering organization.
She's a really good person, so yeah, totally agree.
**Conor Bronsdon** (2:31)
And we're just scratching the surface here, right? There's 10 other sessions, something like that. I mean, another one, like Linear B's CEO, Ory Karan, is doing an incredible keynote on developer productivity, and a deeper dive on developer experience featuring Linear B's team lead Avi Shog, our CTO Yashai, and kind of diving into our perspectives and how we're thinking about this research. So there's just so much stuff that's happening at Interact.
I couldn't be more excited. It's grown so much. It's our third time doing it.
Dan, what's got you excited and proud of Interact?
**Dan Lines** (3:00)
Yeah, I think proud is the best way to describe it. Of course, it's grown and all that. It's really big now. But the thing that I like the most about it is how we're getting in a condensed version. One day, you take one day of your time, even like a few hours, really, and you can hear from some of the most thoughtful, honest, truthful people about what's going on in the industry. Great takeaways, you can learn something.
And it's kind of like a one-day home for anyone that wants to improve themselves as a leader, developer, team leader.
Yeah, it just makes me feel super good.
**Conor Bronsdon** (3:39)
We've even got a lot of CEOs signing up this time, too, are interested, like, how can I help improve the developer experience for my teams? It's really cool to see how it's growing.
So you heard it here, folks. Interact is happening right now. Go register at devinterrupted.com/interact.
And if for some reason you're listening to this later, and you're like, oh, God, I can't make it today, I guess what, if you register, we're still gonna send you the content later. We're recording all this content. It's gonna be available later for folks registered. So I look forward to seeing you at Interact, and if not, we'll catch you afterwards.
