It is officially time. We've been waiting and waiting and waiting and the off season is now over. So let's just waste no time at all and bring in our guy, Zac Stevens down there from Broncos Training Camp.

Fellas, what is going on? The Broncos are back. The three of us are back. The vibes are great. And you know who else is back? Bo Nix is back in a full participant way. This is the perfect way to start off camp, guys.

Absolutely. And Zac, we're going to try to make this interview fast because there's a big storm heading your way.

**Zac Stevens** (1:31)
Oh, no. Well, I appreciate that, especially we got all this camera. We got RG's nice laptop and camera out here. So, yeah, RG's are just checking it out. Maybe we'll get swept up. I don't know that make good content.

It's like a hurricane outside of the office right now. So we'll keep this quick. Hopefully you'll stay dry and everything will be great. Take us inside practice today, Zac. You and Henry, of course, we're both out there. Let us know what we need to know.

Yeah, I mean, the first and foremost, Bo Nix not only out there, but a full participant. Guys, the best news that we could have hoped for happened today in two different ways. The first is Bo Nix was a full participant. He did the first team period of the entire year today. He did not do any team period in mandatory mini camp while he was taking steps in the right direction, but he did today. He was a full participant. That's everything we could have asked for. And then the cherry on top. Well, we can't get too much into the nitty gritty because today's practice was closed to fans, so we can't say everything that happened. Bo Nix also looked really, really good. The word I would use is sharp. In seven on sevens, he had multiple touchdown passes in red zone periods. And then also in team, he looked sharp as well. And a guy that he consistently was getting to was Jalen Waddle. We absolutely love to see that. So in terms of a Bo Nix, this was a very short practice that they're only allowed to do an hour and a half. And so they only did a couple of seven on sevens in team periods. But from what they were able to do, Bo Nix looked as good as we could have hoped. So that's the best news to start things off right there.

Zac, one of the things we talked about last week, since you brought up Jalen Waddle, and I'll try to keep this vague enough so you don't have to give details, but was essentially like chemistry and how Jalen Waddle is coming in way behind any of the other receivers in terms of his potential chemistry with Bo Nix. Were there any signs today that you noticed that would tell you that, you know, this is his first team period with Bo Nix?

**Zac Stevens** (3:34)
Yeah, I didn't. That thought never crossed my mind once today because he was connecting with Waddle on the left side, the right side, in the middle. In fact, there was one very fun play that shows that Francis Webb is already getting into his bag of tricks on day one of camp, and it involved Bo connecting with Jalen Waddle in the middle of the field on a little bit of, not a full trick play, but just real creativity from the offense. So, I mean, Bo was looking at Waddle every single direction. And so, no, that's a great point, Ryan, and something that didn't even cross my mind, which is a really good thing for the Broncos because that was something with Bo's recovery being pushed from being a full participant in the offseason to them being a little limited and that being pushed back. That was something that was brought up was, one, his connection with Jalen Waddle is going to be delayed, and two, Bo's connection with Davis Webb and getting the play calls is going to be delayed. Today, on the first day of camp, very early, but really, really good signs. And I'll tell you what, speaking of Jalen Waddle, after practice, Sean was, we know that Sean likes big wide receivers. He hasn't been shy in saying that. Jalen Waddle is not a big wide receiver. And so Sean was asked what was special about him. And he said, I do like the prototype receivers, but when you get guys that have traits that can walk on water, you just can't walk away from those guys. And he said that Jalen Waddle's got those traits. And man, it looks like it.
