We are about to do our last podcast, podcast number 12 for the On Tour 2026 that Dieter and I have just completed. We're actually here in Berlin still, where we've been attending the Evertique Expo, which has been very interesting. We just gave a presentation about the industry to the audience that seemingly was well-received, and we're also just interviewed by Dennis Dahlgren of Evertique, and so look for that as well.
But we wanted to kind of wrap up the tour, as we always do, by giving some information and giving some insights. We will then also be writing a tour report as we always do. It'll be a little different from previous ones due to the nature of how we did this tour, but hopefully you will still find it interesting. And of course, that will be made available for free to the industry. So a couple of quick overviews before we start. And actually, I'm going to do this in reverse order today because, you know, we can do these tours thanks to the sponsorship of companies who believe in what we do and allow us to come out and visit these companies, go see them in person, and tell stories to the industry. So I want to start by giving all thanks to those companies this year because without them, I would not be talking to you right now. And so this year, we were very pleased to have, from the EMS Now side, as our sponsors, we had CalQQuote, Supply Chain Intelligence for Electronics Manufacturing, CoYoung Technology, Measure Everything, AI Everywhere, Mycronic, Bringing Tomorrow's Electronics to Life, and trustedparts.com, Genuine Electronic Components from Only Authorized Sources.
Dieter Weiss (2:28)
And on Dieter's end, he had Chiron Technology, who does any volume, any size, anywhere. It is precision solder paste printing technology.
Eric Miscoll (2:44)
Yes, and a very interesting new technology on the market. And we encourage you to take a look and give some consideration to all of our tour sponsors. I think their commitment to furthering the industry is pretty clear. And real quick, who we saw, I wanted to review that. We had the pleasure of visiting nine EMS companies on this tour. And we want to kind of, in order, as we saw them, our first meeting was with the CEO of NCAP. We then met with the CEO of TLT Manufacturing in, in Lithuania. We then met with the CEO of NOTE.
And then we met with the CEO of Ketron and also the CEO of ScanFill. Then we actually, we did a, stopped seeing EMS and we went, we did a tour of Mycronic and did a podcast about that. We then went on and met with Inition.
And then we followed with a meeting with the CEO of GPV Group. A meeting with the CEO and several of his managers with the Connect Group. And we wrapped it up this week with the CEO of New Ways, and not the CEO, excuse me, the Chief Commercial Officer and several, and Head of Strategy there for New Ways. So all in all, a very good group. And we were just, we chose them because these are sizable European-based EMS who have a good revenue rate, have done some M&A activity, and are have a strong position in the market.
Dieter Weiss (4:32)
Yes, and let me thank those managers whom we saw, that they agreed to see us, that they devoted the time to speak with us. That is not normal. But it is very important that we do those live discussions. It's totally different than just doing a video interview.
You get much more information. And my personal impression was on those companies, we saw nine different management characters.
Eric Miscoll (5:11)
Yeah.
Dieter Weiss (5:12)
Yeah, they were all different. Well, there is no uniform character to be a CEO of an EMS company.
Eric Miscoll (5:18)
Hey Dieter, who is your favorite? Just kidding. You can't say that. You can't answer that question.
Dieter Weiss (5:24)
I don't want to have trouble with the other eight.
Eric Miscoll (5:26)
Yeah, I know. There's no good answer to that. Hey, listen, I did want to give quick overview on our tour metrics, because that's always, you know, people say, oh, you get to go and travel around. What fun that is. Let me tell you, it's not always fun. So we travel, we flew this time, 4,571 kilometers by air. We do not yet have the calculation how many kilometers by car we went, but it is sizable. We were on eight different flights within Europe. We stayed in, I believe, it was six hotels.
