I Tested ChatGPT Images 2.5... Here’s What Actually Changed

So, ChatGPT just released Images 2.5. This is a way to generate, number one, images that are faster. Number two, more natural, recognizable images. It's more consistent with the details, especially if you have multiple edits. And also, you can do comment-based edits as well, which is pretty cool.

Something else that's pretty interesting here is you can use the at sketch feature inside ChatGPT, and that allows you to sketch out an image, and then you can actually put it into work. So let's test this out now.

If we go over to ChatGPT here, and then if we try the image creation system, so we can type at sketch, and then for example here, let's test this out. I'm gonna say turn this into a snowman in the mountains of Switzerland. Let's see what we got here. So it's pretty easy to use the sketch feature. That's just one example. You can also use templates, which you can see an example of here. So for example, if you're creating like a logo, we can run you through the template workflow, if that makes sense, with different design elements too. The same, for example, for products and everything else.

So like if you were designing, let's say merge for your brand, you could do that with the template system as well. So it's generating the image of the snowman in the background there. I would already say the Chat Cheapity Image 2.5 was the best out there already. So it's got even better. That's great.

So here's an example of the sketch snowman. So this is the original drawing. This is the photo itself. And you can also edit your own photos. So for example, you can change the background, you can change like the clothes you're wearing and that sort of thing, change the colors, the styles, everything else is pretty cool.

So if we go back to create an image now, right? And then if you type at create image, you'll see all the templates over here. So for example, interior design, logos, poster, et cetera. So let's type on logo here, and then we'll say, okay, create this, it gives you an example prompt that's ready to go. And then from here, let's say we wanted to generate a logo for the AI Profit Boardroom. So let's save that information, then we'll grab that, create it for the AI Profit Boardroom, details below, and you can see that's now creating the image. So the sketch feature itself, pretty easy to use. The logo template system looks decent as well. Let's try out another template here. Let's try the book cover one. So you can see this is now running us for the logo. It's asking us like what the feel of the vibe and everything else that we want inside the logo. So just going to go with premium. What's the exact wording? Let's plug that in. Which logo do you like the most? You can actually add an existing logo that you like the look of as well. So if we look through here, let's go with that one. I don't know why it's giving me fish.

Ideas of fish logos for that, but we'll see what it generates in a second.

And then you've got the percentage as well as generating through. So it's counting upwards. Over here, we have the book cover that's being created. So the exact title and author name. So we'll put Link Building Mastery by Julian Goldie. What's the subject? This is a book about SEO link building, and how to get more traffic with AI SEO. And then it gives us some examples of styles. Let's see which one. I'm not a big fan of these either, to be fair. Let's go with that one. And now we have the new logo for the AI Profit Boarding, which is not, it's not bad, but it still feels kind of like AI template, honestly. I think the best way to get the most out of this is like, I mean, if you look at that, like it feels very much like AI. I would say when I look at that as well, it's not really giving us, it's not really giving us like something that's unique to the project, even though I gave it all the details of who we are and what we do and everything else.

So it's been interesting. I thought it would have come up with like an AI related logo for this particular topic, but it didn't. Let's have a look at the book cover and we'll see how that does.

Yeah, it still looks very much AI generated. So I'm not particularly impressed with the templates. The actual content itself looks good, but the templates, I could take or leave them, honestly.
