SPEAKER_1 (0:00)

Good morning, everyone.

Zane Hijazi (0:03)

Good morning. If you guys are listening to the audio version, you definitely want to make it to the video version because, bish, we got a new studio.

SPEAKER_3 (0:10)

We got a new set, baby.

Zane Hijazi (0:13)

But guys, it's crazy because it's the same set. It's just wild what you can do with a room when you just switch things around a little bit. It's insane.

Matt (0:23)

And now it looks so cohesive. It looks like we are in Heath's studio space.

Zane Hijazi (0:30)

We wanted to match Heath's studio so he didn't have to lift a muscle. We know he got that baby still and he's not growing any faster.

Yeah, no, guys, shout out to Jared and Grace. They freaking crushed it here.

Matt (0:44)

Nailed it. I could not believe my eyes when I walked into the studio. I want to now move in here. I am going to start paying rent for here because it's so comfortable. If you are driving and you can't get a visual, Zane, let's describe it for them, everything we have.

Zane Hijazi (0:58)

Absolutely. Before, we wanted to just switch it up a bit because, man, every podcast has that same wall.

Ever since we got it, I'm not saying we were the first ones. There was definitely people before us, but, man, after we got it, every time a podcast clip would pop up on my feed, it was the same wooden planks behind us. I was like, it just looks like we're all, as podcasters, using the same set in a studio that you're renting out.

Heath Hussar (1:21)

It looks like a communal spot that people just pop into.

Zane Hijazi (1:24)

Exactly, so we're like, you know what, let's change it up. We have a studio now, we can do whatever we want, and we decided to go for this warm, cozy, basement feel, mid-century, modern. We really wanted to keep it there, and we got a fireplace.

Matt (1:38)

We got a fireplace going on, a little fake fireplace in the corner with some knickknacks on top. Zane, you have a little cat as well on top of that.

Zane Hijazi (1:45)

Let's say we really updated from this fireplace from the last set, the one before this. Remember that little cheap fireplace we got from Amazon for like $100?

Heath Hussar (1:54)

This one?

Matt (1:54)

It's a perfect intro. We're in October, and now I just feel like it's fall.

Heath Hussar (1:58)

Exactly.

Matt (1:58)

This is so welcoming. It's so warm.

Zane Hijazi (2:00)

And we had to get a bookcase behind each of us for Matt.

Matt (2:03)

And not just one, we got two. We got bookcases. Make it plural now.

Heath Hussar (2:07)

Matt, did you donate the books? Are those your previous reads?

Matt (2:10)

I did not donate the books, but now I'm realizing I got extra storage because Patricia's been like, you have too many books. We're running out of space. So I'm going to be bringing books here to stock up on the shelves.

Zane Hijazi (2:20)

And we have two more shelves of books that we need to fill up.

Matt (2:24)

So if you want us, I know we have Amy Poehler's memoir. It's giving kind of like a hotel free books kind of like a situation. I'm not sure if I would read every book on the shelves, but you know what? It's good. Get some literature.

Heath Hussar (2:37)

Yeah, it's giving the little portable, like, give a book, take a book type of thing.

Matt (2:42)

And it's never anything you want in those free little libraries. It's like Windows 98 for dummies. I don't need that.

Zane Hijazi (2:50)

Do you ever see like the mailboxes of books, like sometimes that people have in front of their houses?

Matt (2:54)

Yeah, that's what we're talking about, like free little libraries, take one, leave one.

Zane Hijazi (2:56)

I'm just surprised that they have just sitting out there. I'm surprised that someone's not coming in just swiping all the books.

Matt (3:01)

Well, at least some people are reading, you know?

Jared (3:02)

It's the honor system.

Zane Hijazi (3:04)

If you're stealing the books, read them.

Matt (3:05)

Yeah, exactly. There's never anything that good in there. Exactly.

Zane Hijazi (3:09)

And I see that you still kept my disgusting baby picture behind me.

Matt (3:13)

We had to.

Zane Hijazi (3:13)

I know we had to. We had to. It's okay. My mom and my mom still love me. You can tell.

Yeah.

Matt (3:19)

And we have the needle point of it's not a crack house. It's a crack home.
