They've made it basically impossible for us to be able to come to any agreement on the Clarity Act based upon the ethics. As much as he's promised to be the crypto president, I think that he's done more harm than good.

Anthony Pompliano (1:08)

When's the last time you talked to somebody in the Trump family?

Hunter Biden (1:12)

I think never.

Anthony Pompliano (1:14)

Wow, you don't think you've ever talked to them?

Hunter Biden (1:16)

No.

Anthony Pompliano (1:17)

Was the cocaine in the White House yours?

What's going on guys? Today we have an absolutely ridiculous conversation. It is with Hunter Biden. Yes, the son of the former president of the United States is here. This guy has been accused of all kinds of things in the media. He has done all kinds of ridiculous things in his life. He literally is hated by half the country, and the other half of the country doesn't even know what to think about him. But he sat down with me, and he's pretty unfiltered. He explained what he thinks about Bitcoin, about cryptocurrencies, about artificial intelligence, about politics. He says nice things about his dad. He actually critiques the Biden administration. He says nice things about the Trump administration, and he critiques them as well. And then I even ask him questions like, what do you run for president? Was the cocaine in the White House his? And all kinds of other things that you've probably always wanted to know from Hunter Biden. Got to give the guy kudos for coming in here, answering questions, being pretty straight up and pretty transparent. I think you're going to enjoy this one. Here's my conversation with Hunter Biden.

Hunter Biden is here. Let's just start off with the big question. Do you like Bitcoin? Do you own Bitcoin?

Hunter Biden (2:15)

I like Bitcoin, but I don't own Bitcoin. But I aspire to own into Bitcoin one day. We'll see. But no, I'm a big fan. A long time ago, I read a thing called the...

Not a long time ago, but a while back, I read a thing called the Internet of Money, and I was very interested in digital money and microtransactions based upon some work I did for the thing called the World Food Program. And so I became a real believer, a real believer in Bitcoin, specifically in the blockchain generally.

Anthony Pompliano (2:47)

Now, when you think about Bitcoin, it seems like Bitcoin has kind of different value propositions to different people. You're talking about the technology. Obviously, both Republican and Democrat presidents have been insane in the government money printing scenario.

Do you think that's the number one argument for Americans to hold Bitcoin is just like, we're going to print the money, inflation is going to go higher, and you should protect yourself? Or is there some other reason?

Hunter Biden (3:09)

Yeah, a while back, I put out a tweet that I didn't think that was that controversy, but it was provocative. And I said, the fiat currency is a sham. And the truth of the matter is that, yeah, of course it's a sham. I mean, any government that can print currency at will, it doesn't actually equal money. And I mean, I've talked before about this, is that the history of the dollar in and of itself, we're at $40 trillion in debt, and I think within the next two years, we'll probably be closer to $50 trillion in debt.

We have lost 97% of the value of a dollar since 1913, and inflation is just built in. It's basically a built-in tax on the American people. And so I don't necessarily think that that means that you don't have fiat currency, but from around the world, it's clearly understandable why we are, as Americans, it's difficult for us to see any other way than the dollar. But if you live in Argentina, or if you live in Venezuela, or you live in name a half a dozen other places in our lifetimes, the idea of a decentralized money, digital money, protected by the blockchain is obviously the future. Yeah, and one of the reasons that I came to this is that when I worked at this thing called the US-UN World Food Program, the UN World Food Program is the largest humanitarian organization in the world. They feed over 75 million people in 82 different countries. They go to every hotspot in the world, from a typhoon hitting to the civil war.
