Yeah, Crystal Lake, I would say this just has so much juice for it, especially coming off of playing like Halloween right now.

No, I'm definitely, I'm all in on Halloween, all in on this, and yeah, I'm feeling it. I really, really am feeling it. So I think that this is exciting. I'm super stoked for this show. I'm ready to just dive into it.

Yeah, I think that just getting this whole prequel kind of aspect too is gonna be super juicy because you get that obviously with the first Friday the 13th, but getting it here, oh, I can't wait. It's just, it feels like it's gonna really tackle. It has a little hinting of Jason. I don't know if we'll actually see him in here. I don't know how the rights work with that character. At all, but, oh, this is just, this is super hype. And I think it's a binge watch too, which is even more exciting.

Yeah, I gotta be honest, this is not really my cup of tea. Like I've seen a couple Friday the 13th movies, but it's not really my bag. And so yeah, like a series diving deeper into the weeds of all of it is not really what I'm interested in. I'm a big Cardellini head for sure. So that's maybe if there's anything that's pulling me in, it's that, but I don't think I'll be seeing this. Honestly, I thought this show already came out.

When I saw this in the write up, I was like, oh, is there a season two coming out? This show must have come out by now, but I feel like it's been in the works for a long time. So I guess it's good that it's finally happens. Comes out next month, right?

I'll be busy watching Other Mommy, which is a movie I am quite excited about, I would say. I think it was me and you who covered that trailer a few weeks ago, right? The first one? Yeah. I wanted to go to this point with Chastain just doing weird stuff. Scared the shit out of me, man. You get the bathtub scene here, which I think is fucking awesome.

It's so good and so weird and so... This movie feels very creative. I feel like this is a shtick we've seen before, but I don't know. I think this movie is just doing it in a clever way, and I think Chastain is just so good at this. I don't think this movie is going to be extremely fun, capital F on the fun. So I'm very, very excited for this one.

Yeah. I'm thinking about, man, I should bring Madison to this movie because I just feel like it's going to have some clever jump scares, not untasteful ones, but like elegantly done ones.

And yeah, the bathtub scene, just like, oh, this is great. I'm having a good time watching this. And yeah, sure enough, yeah, she just covers her face with it. It's like the tone changes.

The way their heads kind of crane around. You start to wonder, is that how heads move? And it's like, yeah, they do move like that, but it feels weird when it's happening.

Nice. A movie that I doubt will have tasteful jump scares is Infirmary. How did you feel about that one?

I don't know. I don't know. I wasn't really juicing with this.

I don't mind. There's a place for found footage movies for me. There really is. There's some that I really like and others that I find just to be kind of bland and boring. And this, like it looks scary, but I feel like it's going to be... This movie just feels like 30 minutes. That's it. And I don't feel like it's going to have any more juice or sustenance to it. I just don't know how to really have any excitement for this movie. Are you in the same boat?
