Limitless: An AI Podcast

October 7, 2026

Thank you for bearing with us. Today, we're going to discuss some big changes happening for us and our show. We'll also give some high level perspective on the rapid progress in AI, from early model demos to current tools for games, video, agents, and scientific research.

Speakers Ejaz, Josh Kale

What's up, everybody?

Josh Kale (0:00)

Welcome back to Limitless. You probably have some questions. It's been a little while.

Ejaz (0:04)

What has it been?

Josh Kale (0:05)

Three weeks and two days, something like that. Not that we've been counting, but we have some updates. This is an update video letting you know what's been going on over the past few weeks, what will be going on over the next few weeks, months, and hopefully years. And as you can see, Bijaz right by my side. Things are good.

Ejaz (0:21)

I don't know which side you are, Josh, from hugging me.

Josh Kale (0:23)

Yeah, I think you're giving... Wait, I'll give the hug, put the arm out.

Ejaz (0:27)

There we go. Yeah, there's our virtual hug. All is well.

Josh Kale (0:31)

We have some updates. Bijaz, you want to fill people in about what's been going on in the last few weeks?

Ejaz (0:34)

Oh, what hasn't been going on?

Josh Kale (0:37)

It's been excruciatingly painful. Listen, we miss you guys so much, and we see all the messages.

Ejaz (0:41)

We have missed you guys. Yes. Can we talk about the messages, Josh? The amount of people that have messaged me and I'm sure it's been the case for you as well, being like, have you and Josh broken up? Like, is everything good between you and Josh? Just to address the rumors, Josh and I are very well.

I can still see him in his window.

Josh Kale (0:59)

Well, actually, there's a building that's obstructing his view, but we live right next to each other also. And the messages, the outpouring of messages has been so kind and so generous and it's really nice to see the support from the people who have watched.

Ejaz (1:11)

Yes, it has. And okay, so let's go through like a quick kind of, I guess, list of things that have been happening.

The first thing is we've been working on some stuff behind the scenes, and what that looks like is a new partnership that comes in the form of this company that had been listening to us, and we're actually fans of the show. They've been listening to us for about three to four months, and they kind of reached out and they were like, hey, how can we work with you? You know, you guys are looking for like sponsorship or like, you know, you want to expand the show and build it on a bigger scale. And so that's what we've been working on behind the scenes, and it's been excruciating not being able to talk about it with you guys and figure out how to communicate with this and put out new episodes for you folks. But we finally reached a point where we're comfortable enough to do that, and we're excited to be back on the show. So I guess update number one is, Yahoo Finance has agreed to work very closely to put out AI content to you. We talk about all the headline news, trending topics, new releases, new models, but there is also another update.

Josh Kale (2:13)

Yes, when EJ says us, he means us a little more sparingly than normal. Because as of now, this is going to be a different type of show where I will be less involved. And this is the part that breaks my heart. As this whole process was going on with Yahoo, and we were figuring out how to transition, some of you who have been sleuthing around the internet realized that I also had a role at Anthropic as a contractor. I have decided to continue to pursue that and continue to work at Anthropic as a full-time job at a full-time capacity. And it's doing similar stuff to what we're doing here on the show. It's creating content, it's talking about AI, it's just doing so at the place that we talk about on all of our episodes. And it was really difficult.

Ejaz and I, we worked through a lot of the logistics of what this would look like and just kind of making sure it was cool by everybody.

So instead of me being the host of every episode, I will be involved much more sparingly. I'm here today. I will hopefully be dropping in every once in a while. But Ejaz is now going to be shepherding you through the singularity and beyond for all of these daily episodes. And I do have to just thank everyone for the support and just being here today in general listening to this episode. Ejaz, this is number two, three, four. We've recorded 234 episodes of the show, which is just like an unbelievable journey that we've gone on over the last, what has it been, like 15, 16 months. And the support that we've garnered over the last year from all the people who just reached out over the last couple of weeks concerned, wondering where we've been, missing their favorite daily show. It's been so nice and just really sweet to feel the, I guess, like compassion from the audience that we've built, the community that we have, and miss you. We'll miss you, but we'll continue to provide content on a regular basis through our pal over here, E.Jazz, who is now, I will say, much more resourced. E.Jazz will be in a studio filming a real show and doing so at a regular cadence. So, it's kind of a weird, big change, a tough change to talk about.
