How to Use Jev AI for FREE!

Today, I'm going to show you how to use Jev AI by TypeSafe AI Free on ForCell. So this is available for free until September the 25th. That's why I'm creating this video quickly now for you to help you. And this is one of the models that has the fastest adoption versus any other model in AI gateway history. So you can see in the first day, for example, TypeSafe reached 13% of teams on ForCell, 2xGPT 5.6 and 6xFable 5.1. Everyone is using Jev AI. I'll come on to some examples of what I've built with it so far. Now, if you're wondering how to use it, how to get access to it, etc. So you can go to Jev through the AI gateway, and you can build with the AISDK using Jev. And you can see right here, Jev via TypeSafe AI on ForCell is free as a model. So you can start using it for free. Here's how to get access to it. You just need to make sure you get an API key, and you can see that it's only available for free until September 25th, like so. So you can go and get an API key like this from your ForCell settings inside the QuickStart, grab an API key, and then you can get the details right here. And you can give this to any AI agent that you want to build with. So for example, if you're using Hermes, if you're using, for example, Claude, Fable, FIVE, if you're using Codex, doesn't matter, you can get the API key, you can get the build details from ForCell, and then you can give that to AI agents to build with directly for you. And that's how to use it for free. Simple as that. Now, one thing that I would recommend is that you paste in the documentation plus your API key into Claude, or put it in the environment key. And then from here, you can see that actually failed because we had to add a card on file. It's still free, but we did have to add a card on file to use this.

And then you can see we gave it the details, and once that was done, it built pipelines and used the free tier, which is pretty cool.

So Jev actually works on the frontier. We've tested out. It works. You can give it to the AI agents. They can control it for you. And bear in mind with Jev AI, like it's not a model where it's going to write stuff for you and that sort of thing, but it's just really good and fast at making decisions. So if you want to see what I've built with it and why it's so powerful, let me show you a couple of examples here. So this is a voice AI browser using Jev, and basically with Jev, you can control your browser pretty much in real time using your AI agents. So for example, we say, go to Google, it opens up instantly. Can you go to Wikipedia coffee page? Can you scroll down the page? So you get the point. It can basically control our browser for us in real time. That was like a free GitHub project that was checking out earlier today, which is really fun to use. And then here's another example. So this is an app where it can make decisions for you, like you see right here using Jev. And then also, for example, we can actually go live here. So if we open this up, we allow this, and we can now, for example, I put sunglasses on me or change the color of my blazer, give me a hat, and it's pretty cool and fun to use. It's just like working in real time, making decisions for us and working with another API to generate this whole setup here. It's pretty cool. So really powerful system, quite revolutionary, free to use, and it makes your AI agents way faster.

Plus, you can also plug it into, for example, Claude Fable 5, or you can plug it into Astra, and it will reduce the amount of tokens that she uses as well, which is really, really cool.
