Hi, I'm Bella Dane and this is How to Stop Being a Loser, where I chat about things I'm absolutely not qualified to talk about, but am randomly very interested in.
I do my best to learn from industry professionals and based what I share on as much as science, evidence and real life lessons as possible. Hey y'all! Welcome back to another episode of How to Stop Being a Loser. Thank you so much for tuning in. I'm really excited about this episode. I know I say that every episode, but I have been plotting my fall rebrand and I know everyone's been plotting their fall rebrand. I'm saying it all over TikTok. Everyone is like rebranding for fall. It's just that time. Like September, October. I feel like it's when everyone decides they're going to do their like winter arc, like whatever, whatever the kids call it these days. But it's always like a rebrand. Or you want to like refresh and realign and reset with your goals and everything. And can I just say, I have never felt more confident in my life with my ability to rebrand, realign, my goals, reset in terms of like mental organization life, not procrastinating and just being able to get everything done. I actually feel really confident in my ability to do that, which is a big deal, and it's a big accomplishment for me because I've always been someone who works smarter, not harder. So I wanted to make a whole episode about it because I have so many tips and tricks and systems and mindset things and tangible tools to give you all that I think will really help. Because if I hear anything from every woman I know, it's that there's just not enough hours in the day. Like, how do we get everything done? Being hot is a full time job. Maintaining your health is a full time job. Maintaining your home is a full time job.
Like your careers, your goals, your personal goals, your long term goals. Like all of these different things. Just too much to maintain and it feels like there aren't enough hours in the day.
And also trying to make it esthetic and make it look like all these things that you see online. Like it's hard, but we can do hard things. And I've learned there are enough hours in the day you can get it all done and not want to die. And I feel I've truly mastered this. So we're gonna get into it.
I do want to say I'm the most type C person you'll ever meet in your life, and you all know that if you've been following me for a while. But you have. Thank you, by the way. But I'm very ambitious and go getter. I'm a really hard worker. I'm not timely at all. I am very like, just do things. I'm not a planner. I'm not a naturally like organized person. So this has taken me a long time to balance and just find strategies, find productivity strategies that truly work for me and my productivity style and my brain. I think that's a big thing that I want to kick this off with is you need to sit down. Maybe with AI. Honestly. Or just journal and figure out who am I in terms of how I am productive. Like am I type a person or might be person at my type C person? Do I have ADHD? Like, what are these things that make up me? Like when when I reflect back on my life, when are the times I was the most productive, the most creative, where I felt like I was really in the zone where I felt like I was on fire? Like, when were those times, I think, taking some time to self-reflect and have that, like pensive time to figure that out so that you can develop a productivity style and a way to organize your life in a way that you love, that actually is going to work for you. Because if I were to try to do it like a type B person, it would stick because I've done it. It doesn't work. And if I try to do it like a super type A person, I've done it and it doesn't stick. I've had to do it in a way that works for me. So I'm just gonna kind of throw everything at you. And I think, like anything, anything I say, anything anyone online says, take what resonates and experiment with it and then leave the rest.
You know I'm saying, so this is how to get your shit together and stop feeling like a hot mess and do everything that you said you would. Truly, I think being someone of integrity is is massive and also such a confidence builder. I talk about us all the time, but the brain needs evidence and you sitting around saying, I'm so organized, I'm so productive, I'm such a badass, but you're not doing anything that aligns with that. Your brain basically calls bullshit, like, your brain has such a strong bullshit detector, so that's why you're not actually feeling the confidence. I have found so much confidence in doing what I say I'm going to do, even if it's something like, I'm going to do a full reset routine tonight and then I do it, or I'm going to clean my house and I do it. Little wins, I truly believe, make the distance or make the difference, make the distance.
