How to Automate AI Avatars

So today, we're going to be answering questions on AI avatars. One of my favorite topics right now. So you can see here, MJ posted inside the AI platform boardroom. I'm excited to join the AI community and learn more techniques and tools for automation and create my own AI videos. Welcome MJ. One of the challenges I'm currently facing is creating consistent AI avatars. So I'm really looking forward to seeing how this can help me improve and develop my skills.

So let's have a look at this. I would say there's different levels to this system. And we'll talk about the three levels here when it comes to AI avatars.

So first of all, when it comes to generating AI avatars, I typically use HeyGen. I tend to find HeyGen is the best by far.

It gives you the most consistent avatars. And also they look very realistic and their system is getting better and better. So for example, if you look at 2025 versus 2026, the quality of their systems is way better now than it ever was before. So it's really, really good. Here's an example. So we've created a custom version right here. But I would say level one is just using a default avatar.

So if we have a look, for example, inside, if we click on create, like so, we've got three different options. So we can do a quick create, we can do a video agent or we can do like scene by scene. So if we go with this one, for example, we can put in a script and then we've got the AI avatar over here. And we can switch between like chat or auto, as you can see. And we can also change the voice. So step number one would be using one of the default avatars. Just to test it out and see what you think, as you can see right here. And there's some really nice ones, as you can see. And the good thing about this is, I know you mentioned, for example, just creating consistent avatars is what you want. So with HeyGen, you get consistency, whether you create your own or whether, for example, you use one of the setups here. So if we have a look at mine, for example, you can see that we've got loads of different versions of me with different looks and styles and that sort of thing. And these are all consistent. So I can come back to these and choose a look. So that solves the consistency problem for you straight from level one. Now, if you're wondering how to set this up step by step, we've got a full course on it. It's week two right here, as you can see. So inside our Beginner to Expert course, we actually show you exactly how to do this right there. Now, let's talk about level two. And level two, I would say, it's just making the system way more interesting. So I'll give you an example. If you have a look at this particular video, it looks great, right? Pretty nice and quite realistic. Looks really cool, nice quality, et cetera. But the problem is, there's no... If you just go with an avatar like this, it's not going to be that interesting to watch, if that makes sense. So if you have a look at, for example, this one here, you can see that it looks a lot nicer. It looks a lot more interesting, that sort of thing. And that's because we have like different elements in the video, not just the AI avatar itself. So stage two is making the AI avatar videos look beautiful. And that could, for example, include B-roll, effects, visual hooks, et cetera, just making it look very, very interesting. So it's much more entertaining to watch. And I'd say there's two different ways to do that. So number one, you could get like an editor. It's pretty easy to get an editor to do that for you, but you have to manage your human. Option number two is that you actually get your AI to edit this stuff for you. So for example, you can go into Codex, you can give it the skill of remotion, and with remotion plus your AI avatar, it can edit and create videos for you. Let me show you an example. So here's an example of a video that's been edited by the AI, and it's just using the skill of remotion to do that. Remotion is a free open source skill, which you can grab over here. And with this free open source skill, it basically teaches AI agents, and that could be Hermes or Claude or whatever you prefer, to edit and animate a video. And then what you can actually do, and this is the important bit, is you get the API from HeyGen. So you can get an API inside your settings section, and you can plug that API. So you can plug your HeyGen API into your AI agent. And what it can do from there is basically animate the video using remotion and create the video using HeyGen. And then you've got the AI avatar, but it looks beautifully edited. So that is level two. And then we've got level three. So level three is basically using a custom automation, like we've got inside our Agenetic Operating System, where you can basically describe whatever you want. You can select between these different settings, so you can change how long you want it to be. Could go up to like 10 minutes. You can choose whether you want a voiceover or presenter, so an AI avatar or faceless. You can switch between what sort of engine you want for the B role, and then what voice you want as well for the AI agent. So we can literally type what we want here and then start generating it. And if we have a look at the outputs inside our workspace, everything is saved inside the workspace. So you can see we have like lots of amazing videos. And if we go to, you can see that we have a five minute long video with all the B role and the voice over and the script is all automated as well.
