Sometimes you shouldn't scale everything. The thing that I hear over and over again is like, I can just tell you care so much. This was like a magical moment, and I am constantly kind of bordering that line of like, how do I keep the magic, but also how do I become more efficient?

Hello, my friend. Welcome back to another episode of Creator Science. My guest today is Tamara Grominsky, the founder of PMM Camp, a private membership for product marketing leaders. Tamara and I are in the same mastermind inside the lab. I've been sitting across from her every month for about a year now, and every single month, her update is up and to the right. Not because of some big swing, but because she keeps making small, deliberate adjustments and then measuring exactly how it performs.
Her background matters for this one. Tamara spent 15 years climbing the product marketing ladder as a Chief Strategy Officer at Unbounce and then VP of Product Marketing at Kajabi, which you're probably familiar with, specifically so she could learn how creators run their businesses. Here's why I wanted to have this conversation right now. You might recall my conversation with Tom Ross recently where he talked about monthly enrollment windows, and that is what Tamara does. She opens enrollment to her community on the first of every month. And in September, the lab started experimenting with the same model for the first time because I watched her do it and I saw a lot of benefit in trying it myself. And this is where the conversation goes full circle because last fall, Tamara tried to go evergreen because she looked at my business and thought I made it look easy. In her words, this completely broke her business. She was sending personalized videos, writing emails, doing everything that should have worked, and enrollment just did not move. So in December, she went monthly, and as you'll hear, that has really worked in her favor.
So in this episode, we get into her process, how she found the first 25 members in 10 days, why quarterly launches broke for her, what happens inside her kit account between the days you apply in the first of the month. Why she can go tag by tag, step by step, and why she now takes people off of her wait list if they don't buy in their first opportunity. We get specific about numbers too, the conversion rate she's actually achieving versus the one she wants, and the one part of her funnel she hasn't cracked yet. Tamara is awesome. This episode is super specific, insightful, and measurable. We'll get to that full conversation right after this.
This episode is brought to you by Circle, the community platform chosen by Tim Ferriss, Dr. Becky Kennedy, Johnny Harris, the Obama Foundation, and yours truly. I just finished teaching a live course on building memberships, and one of my students did something that surprised me. Mandy Loomis turned her course notes into a community in just minutes using Circle AI. I'm going to read this directly from the transcript from one of our live calls. She said, quote, If you're building in Circle, I just started my free trial, and as soon as I created my account, an AI prompt opened up. I pasted all of my homework, the persona, the mission statement and the spaces I had brainstormed during our session, and it literally built the spaces for me that I had listed in there. I am super impressed with their AI, end quote. Now you guys know me, I already love Circle, but it just keeps getting more and more powerful. From community to courses or live events, Circle does it all. And now with Circle AI, it's never been easier to build a digital business of your own. You can go from prompt to full community build out in a matter of minutes, even if you're totally new to the platform. It's never been easier to get started thanks to Circle AI. Just visit circle.so to start a free trial today. That's circle.so.
