In the movies, everyone always says they'd wait forever for their missing husband or wife to return.
**SPEAKER_4** (0:40)
But how long would you really wait?
**Dave Chang** (0:42)

The Odyssey is out in theaters now, so in honor of the summer's biggest movie, I'm making a version of Greek salad and a chicken rice dish we've been screwing around with a lot over the past few weeks, inspired by the Greek Avgo Lemono, a very loose interpretation of what Avgo Lemono is.
Listen, I've been a big fan of Christopher Nolan, like Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Christopher Nolan.
I think he's my wife's favorite director of all time. I don't know. What do you think?
**Chris Ying** (2:15)
Man, Chris Nolan can do no wrong, I feel like. Like everything he does.
**Dave Chang** (2:20)
Dunkirk's fucking amazing.
**Chris Ying** (2:21)
They're like so smart too. I mean, we spent a much time with his brother too. God, he's Nolan brothers.
**Dave Chang** (2:26)
I've always admired basically in any part of culture where the creative aspect is you're trying to go for mass and like highbrow. I think that's the hardest, hardest thing to nail.
**Chris Ying** (2:38)
Well, it's like, it's almost like you're so smart, but you're smart enough to also just be like, I can dumb it down a little bit. Not like any of these movies are dumb.
Like, you know what I mean? Some of them are still too smart.
**Dave Chang** (2:50)
Oh, you mean fucking Batman.
**Chris Ying** (2:51)
Yes.
**Dave Chang** (2:52)
I mean, one of my probably least favorite movies upon watching it the first time was Interstellar. And I have to say, it's probably the movie I've seen the most on repeat watch.
**Chris Ying** (3:05)
Oh, like a Dark Horse favorite.
**Dave Chang** (3:07)
Yeah, it's grown on me. I didn't like the ending. I didn't love how love heals the world and all.
**SPEAKER_7** (3:14)
You didn't like the ending of Interstellar?
**Dave Chang** (3:16)
I mean, which part did you like then? But like, it's growing on me.
**Chris Ying** (3:21)
You just like the suffering parts.
**Dave Chang** (3:23)
No, I just thought the whole concept was very cool. But the fact that like...
**Chris Ying** (3:29)
That love was the answer.
**Dave Chang** (3:30)
Love was the answer of all this cool shit. Again, I'm just wondering, because in that movie, for those that don't know, I'm not ruining it for anybody.
Earth in the future is on its last legs. There's a blight that's killing all the food. And the last crop in America, at least, is corn. And I was thinking, if theoretically, we had a blight with domestic food production with animals. All right? Mass availability.
And we could only save one of the animals. So we're talking about chicken, beef. Okay.
**Chris Ying** (4:10)
Like livestock, food animals.
**Dave Chang** (4:12)
Yeah, food animals. If we could only save one for the world, what would it be?
**Chris Ying** (4:19)
So if we had the world's tiniest Noah's Ark, just one animal fits on here.
**Dave Chang** (4:24)
There's the blight. There's some kind of new barge that's biting everyone. And we only have enough theoretical formula to save one species.
**Chris Ying** (4:33)
And if I got to choose?
Yeah. I feel like racial profiling clearly indicates which ones I'm going to save.
