Because chronologically going through the episode, there's moments that are important obviously, but I thought this was a bit of a table setter, a step up from last week, which I suppose we were somewhat critical of, but, you know, exciting stuff, brewing.

Let's start with Alicent, who arrives at Harrenhal, has sex with her son, Aemond, and then arrives again. You know what I mean?

You said arrives and not comes? I know.

Well, I'm a little jumpy about making too many sexual jokes.

Shout out to the ghetto boys. Aemond's mind is playing tricks on him.
And he's a little freaked out by all the H-Hall voodoo flying around as he greets Alicent's bodyguard by stabbing him in the throat. Things just get more frosty from there. We like an awkward dinner between Aemond's mom and his girlfriend at an awkward cocktail hour where Alicent poisons Aemond with some berries that she found next to the body of her dead minder.

Aemond collapses in Alicent's arms as Alicent seemingly escapes Harrenhal.

The nightshade payoff, Helaena talking all season about the poison plan.

I thought that was just, there were just some cool berries. I didn't know.
Daemon is out and about looking for Rhaenyra, whose dragon has been spotted Hither and Yon out in the Vale. He finally finds her, but the reunion is interrupted by Rhaenyra and Adam's arrival. There's a big standoff and intergenerational family fight, basically like the Fish's episode of the Bear, but with dragons and Caraxes.

Wines up fighting Sheepstealer with Rhaenyra at first condemning Rhaenyra and saving her life and riding back to King's Landing. Rhaenyra is quite upset with Daemon because she had thought this has all been handled and that Sheepstealer's rider rested comfortably in her room as a skull.
