All right, 604, McMonigle here with you on The Fan, 888-808-1019. Last stop of The Carton Show, taking till 7 o'clock.
Of course, we enter every last stop of The Beatles song. That one's off Rubber Soul, which just got the new Deluxe release. Rubber Soul, great album. A lot of people's favorite. I think Howie Rose said it might be his favorite.

I didn't even know that album existed.
Chris McMonigle (0:26)
You didn't know Rubber Soul existed? No idea. Get out. I mean, I don't know what else to say. Just get out.
888-808-1019. We'll have picks this hour. Obviously, we got to pick Monday night. Washington taking on the San Francisco 49ers. See if Washington can complete the back-to-back weeks of the NFC East not getting a single win. And look, that's really where the difference is. I know we just had a caller call up and said, you know, I said, the Jets should be tanking, but where's my tanking on the Giants, please? You ain't been listening very much over the last handful of years with me as a host. If you think I'm afraid to say the Giants should tank, I yell about the Giants tanking all the time. I was furious they won the game against the Cowboys at the end of last year. Believe me. Hi, my name is Chris McMonigle and I'm a tanker. The difference is the division sucks. Yeah, I'm concerned about this giant team. I picked the Saints. I've picked against the Giants the last three weeks. I'm concerned about this football team. Jameis Winston is not a starting quarterback anymore. I don't think JJ. McCarthy is. I would still think he's done enough here winning a couple of games. He played well against the Cardinals in the second half. He played well against Washington in the second half. I wish he could play well in a complete game, but I think that eludes him. And I'm open to seeing JJ. McCarthy, but I don't think much more of him. And I don't think that the performance he gave in the final quarter of the game the other day, when they're down 24 points, is some sort of, wow, he's gonna do this. Like, I don't know what JJ. McCarthy is. And I'd prefer to give him the full buy if they're gonna make this decision and make the change. I don't think he's a rock star. People think he's a rock star. People think he's this hidden gem who Minnesota mistreated and nobody sees it. And he's gonna be great. Oh, I hope so. I don't see that. I see a guy who came in against the defense who was willing to give up yards and he made a couple of nice throws and a couple of bad throws. And some were caught and some were dropped and an interception and should have been two. And ultimately he fell short.
Now, he does provide a little bit of mobility that Jameis Winston does not. And again, I'm not beyond him being the quarterback after the buy or being the starting quarterback in the second quarter of the game. This week, I would have a quick hook. Jameis Winston throws two first quarter interceptions. Bring in JJ. I'm fine with that. But I do think J. McCarthy and Jameis Winston have earned the right to have one more day. But what do I think of this team? I think they can't stop the run. They can't run the football. They don't have a legitimate starting quarterback.
I think that's enough. I do think there's some talent. They obviously have likely and neighbors who are both excellent football players and playmakers. I do think the running game has been handled poorly. I think Cam Scadaboo is their best back. I think Tracy is their best third down back. And that's how I would use them. And I think what he did this week kind of made no sense, but he's trying to find something, spark somebody. And he gave a whole bunch. And as we got the news of Aaron Boone coming back for the New York Yankees, I would think Giants fans, and maybe you do, you can call me up at 888-808-1019. Let me know. But I would think Giants fans, if you're New York fans and you're New York Yankee fans, you should be ecstatic that the coach held someone accountable. I mean, right, as you're watching the different running attack and, you know, unable to run the football on Cam Scadaboo not getting a single carry, I hope everyone sat there and was real happy about accountability.
Because that's what you need. If you don't have accountability, you have nothing. You need that accountability. It's very important. It's more important than putting your best player on the field in a 17-game season.
