All right, 602, yes sir, yes sir. Last night of The Carton Show. Today is, that's John Lennon you're hearing now, watching The Wheels off his last album, the double live fantasy album.

Today would have been his 86th birthday, born October 9th, 1940 So happy birthday to John. And yes, we do a lot of Yankees, we do a lot of Beatles in the last stop, deal with it. When you get your show, talk about what you want to talk about. Right? Gallo knows that. Gallo talks about what he wants to talk about when he gets his own show.

SPEAKER_2 (0:39)

To be fair, I end up talking about a lot of the Yankees. And then I inadvertently take shots of the Beatles, which turns into me.

Chris McMonigle (0:46)

Geez, I forget who it was now. I get, was it Apria?

Geez, I should remember. Somebody was like, oh, Gallo was giving you quite the compliment, talking about what a wonderful athlete you are.

SPEAKER_2 (1:00)

I always, you're the best. People think I'm joking. You're the best athlete that didn't play professional sport here.

So, fourth, you know, Boomer, Tiki, Craig played third base for the Phillies, back up third base. And then you.

Chris McMonigle (1:13)

And then me. I mean, there's some evidence that suggests otherwise, but we buried that so far on the ground, you'll never see it. 888-808.

SPEAKER_2 (1:22)

You put yourself out there. A lot of people didn't.

Chris McMonigle (1:24)

That's right.

SPEAKER_2 (1:26)

And Keith, a close fourth.

Chris McMonigle (1:29)

Yeah, close.

SPEAKER_2 (1:29)

Yeah, I play multiple sports.

Chris McMonigle (1:30)

He's right behind me. Suck it! All right, 888-808-109. Last stop of The Carton Show taking you till 7 o'clock. When?

Zach Gelb will take over. I was going to say after hours. I know he doesn't do Fridays, right? He doesn't do Windows. He doesn't do Fridays. So that's good for Tommy Lugauer.

SPEAKER_2 (1:56)

You're the worst with names, man.

Chris McMonigle (1:58)

No, that one was just me clearing my throat a little bit. Oh, okay. I know Tommy Lugauer's name. Never forget it. So obviously, look, a lot of baseball at the end of the show. We talked to Chris Kershner of The Athletic about the feeling inside the room and specifically with Aaron Judge. But today was kind of like a Football Friday. And if you're a giant fan, really, both teams are playing in unique perspectives. And Craig talked about this. I don't know if we really broke it down, but today, going into this weekend, Sunday, the Giants and Jets are both playing games that are very important to their future. The Jets on the obvious end of the spectrum where you can't go one and four. You got a Cleveland Browns team that has played really well so far this year after getting embarrassed week one against the Jaguars. They have won three straight games and they've done so in fairly convincing fashion.

And their quarterback is playing much better. The defense is getting after the opposing quarterback. They've had come from behind fourth quarter victories. Watson's done really well and Munkin has done a really good job. But they're still the Browns. And the Jets are favored in this game. I think it's the first game that Aaron Glenn has been favored in as a Jets head coach. Season's on the line. Whatever your expectations were for this season with the New York Jets. And look, they're without Breeze Hall.

They're without Mitchell. So they've got some injuries and it sounds like the weather is going to be atrocious yet again. What is with? We can't shake these miserable Sundays. But it sounds like the weather is going to be bad again. But that's no excuse. This team, because you go one and four and you lose it home to the Browns. The season rapidly starts to become about other things than how good this offense can be. How many games can they win? Has this coach figured out his follies at the end of halves and the end of games? Like, this season quickly spins out of control at one and four. We see it all the time around here.

One and four becomes season over, even though you're reliant on possibly the Cowboys pick or possibly the Green Bay Packers pick or certainly the Colts pick, you're going to be focused on why not be better, why not see what Cade Klubnik is, what's the point, no point in winning. We know the coach is dead man walking, like, the season starts to spiral. One and four, losing at home to the Cleveland Browns.

That can't happen. And then for the New York Giants, it's a huge game on the other side of the spectrum because of what the win would mean. It's not so much what the loss would mean because three and two, right there in the division, still at the top of the division.
