I still can't get over the interview he did with Amy Poehler. It was awesome. He delved into a lot of different stuff. He was funny.

It was a great interview. He talked about what he makes for breakfast because he's vegan. And he was just like so silly. He was completely silly in the moment.

Gregg Giannotti (0:18)

What does he have?

Chris McMonigle (0:19)

Just cereal and berries, but he's like messing around with Amy Poehler. He's like, chop up.

He's like, I take one strawberry, chop it up. He was just being goofy and silly. You don't really see too much of that from Paul. It was very fun.

Gregg Giannotti (0:35)

It was an open conversation with Amy Poehler.

Chris McMonigle (0:37)

It was an open conversation with Amy Poehler. He got emotional talking about his wife, Linda, who passed away years ago in the late 90s.

It was just, he got a full encompassing view of Paul. The pettiness of literally contacting the directors of the movie to say, hey, in the movie I'm seeing, the pictures I'm seeing, John's taller than Paul.

Boomer Esiason (0:58)

No, that's not true.

Chris McMonigle (0:59)

He doesn't like today's music. He was just like, it was a lot of interesting stuff.

Gregg Giannotti (1:04)

How long was this interview?

Chris McMonigle (1:05)

It was like an hour. Whatever her podcast is. It was good.

It was good.

Gregg Giannotti (1:11)

It was, did he get emotional talking about John at all?

Chris McMonigle (1:14)

I don't think so.

Gregg Giannotti (1:16)

Why would he?

Chris McMonigle (1:17)

It's been a long time now.

Gregg Giannotti (1:22)

But still.

Chris McMonigle (1:22)

He famously was kind of like not emotional the next day.

Gregg Giannotti (1:26)

Do you think he set it up?

Chris McMonigle (1:28)

Do I think he set it up?

Gregg Giannotti (1:30)

Conspiracy theory.

Chris McMonigle (1:31)

It might be onto something.

Gregg Giannotti (1:32)

I mean, you got to read the emotions.

Chris McMonigle (1:35)

I think he was just taking it back. You know, it was a dramatic moment.

Gregg Giannotti (1:40)

By the way, probably was dramatic.

Chris McMonigle (1:43)

Yeah, dramatic, traumatic.

Gregg Giannotti (1:45)

Traumatic.

Chris McMonigle (1:46)

All those Maddox. Gregg Maddox.

Chris McMonigle (1:52)

We do have a football game tonight. We will give you picks. I also want to say, because Twitter is both the worst place in the world and also useful information. We have had some fans reach out to us.

And the fact is, week four of this season, all four NFC East teams were underdog.

SPEAKER_5 (2:11)

Is that true?

Chris McMonigle (2:12)

Just happened week four, two weeks ago. Two weeks ago, the Cowboys were plus three in Houston.

SPEAKER_5 (2:18)

I'm an idiot, too.

Chris McMonigle (2:19)

Philadelphia was plus three against the Rams. The Giants were plus two and a half at home against the Cardinals, and the Commanders were plus three and a half to the Colts.

Gregg Giannotti (2:26)

I gotta be honest with you. I gotta blame that on Google. Because I looked it up.

SPEAKER_5 (2:30)

Now, I'm stupid because when I looked on Gemini, it literally has that week four of this current season.

Chris McMonigle (2:36)

Yep.

SPEAKER_5 (2:37)

And I just ignored it. And I was like, God, they're talking about this week.

Chris McMonigle (2:39)

So, three times in the last 11, 12 years. So, still not very much. Or four times.

SPEAKER_5 (2:45)

I'm just shocked 2020 didn't happen.

Chris McMonigle (2:48)

Yeah, they were terrible.

Gregg Giannotti (2:48)

They were all bad.

Chris McMonigle (2:49)

They were all terrible. I would have thought for sure that would have been the year it happened.

SPEAKER_5 (2:52)

But I'm assuming the Eagles and Cowboys weren't projected to be bad those years. And then Carson Wentz fell off a cliff.

Gregg Giannotti (2:58)

Yeah.

SPEAKER_5 (2:58)

I don't even know what happened with the Cowboys.

Chris McMonigle (3:01)

I'm trying to think. Was that, the DAC must have been injured. Was that the year DAC dislocated his ankle?

SPEAKER_5 (3:06)

Maybe. And then I can't remember who the guy was for the, was it, who was the quarterback for the commanders that almost beat the Bucs?

Chris McMonigle (3:14)

Yeah. From North Carolina.

SPEAKER_5 (3:16)

Hanke.

Chris McMonigle (3:16)

Hanke.

SPEAKER_5 (3:17)

Yeah.

Gregg Giannotti (3:17)

Look at that. Yeah.

Chris McMonigle (3:19)

Was it Hanke? That was his name?

Gregg Giannotti (3:21)

Heinecke. Hanke. Heinecke? Yeah.

Chris McMonigle (3:23)

Tyler Heinecke.

Gregg Giannotti (3:24)

That's what I said. Hanke.

SPEAKER_5 (3:26)

That's not Heinecke though.

SPEAKER_4 (3:28)

Was it Tyler Heinecke?

Gregg Giannotti (3:30)

I don't think it was.
