Let's ride. All right, we talked about it.
Biggest game of the season for the New York Yankees, the biggest series of the season for the New York Yankees. I think this is, I don't think they'll play another big one. Yes, they have a four game set against Tampa Bay later in the year. If they don't win this series, that series might not mean a damn thing. This is as big a series as they'll play all year. And to set the scene live from Yankee Stadium, our guy, Emmanuel Berbari, does post game pre-end post for the Yankees right here on the fan. Emmanuel, what's going on, bud? How are you?

I'm doing well, how are you? The biggest series of the year until there's maybe one bigger against Tampa Bay.

Well, let's hope. They gotta like, if they lose this one, I don't know if there's any hope that that series is that big come the end of September. So this is a big one for me, obviously. But let's get right to it about the lineup.
I had a real question, obviously, they throw a lot of left handers. Sandoval traditionally has been devastating against lefties, not so much this year, having a bad year in general. But the Red Sox bringing an element, that's a tough spot for the Yankees with all this left handed pitching. And I was curious how they were going to react and whether or not they were going to deploy their right handed lineup. And they have, what's your reaction to Ramos being in the lineup? What's your reaction to No Garcia in this lineup? And Goldschmidt leading off, playing first base and deploying the right handed lineup in reaction to the Red Sox pitching?

**Emmanuel Berbari** (1:36)
I think it's the only way to really go about it because the Yankees have been neutralized by these left handers, especially since Aaron Judge went down. The Yankees started the year and we were thinking, wow, they have really changed against left hand pitching. And that's all changed since Judge went down. The Red Sox are predicated on this, having these tough lefties that can mow the Yankees down. So I think if you're not going to use Goldschmidt and Ramos now, when would you really use them? You also have a doubleheader tomorrow. So Boone was talking about it in his pregame presser, how Dellinger, one of the two games tomorrow, Grisham, one of the two games tomorrow, you're going to fit them anyway. I think you're going to see Ramos possibly all four games here. That was my takeaway here in Boone.

Really? Possibly. The question for me is Garcia.
He's been their best hitter, he's been their most dominant force really in the lineup for a little bit here. No Garcia in the biggest game of the year does jump out at me. I understand what you're talking about and I've been talking about it. If these players aren't going to play in this game against left-handed pitching, what's the point of being on the roster? But Garcia has been their best hitter. It's tough to not have him in the lineup.

**Emmanuel Berbari** (2:44)
It really is, especially with the electricity he's provided. Like the ball jumps off this guy's bat and he is giving you a thump that you just have not had, for the most part, outside of some flashes here and there. The Yankees have not had that type of bat in the lineup producing the way he has. But the splits are, they're wild. I mean, you know, you look at it, and he's the best hitter in baseball arguably against right-hand pitching. Lefties just dominate him. I understand he had a big hit off of lefty the other night. He's looked pretty good against lefty since he's been a Yankee. I don't think this precludes him from coming into this game. It just means to start this game. The Yankees want to stack the righties because they really don't have that many righty options that can match left-handers and they're using them.

Yeah, no, they're using them. And the only one that's left out and he hasn't really hit left-handed pitching all that much this year is Rosario. And I don't know what the role is for Rosario on this team if they're going to play Caballero over him against left-handed pitching at their base.

**Emmanuel Berbari** (3:41)
Right. And I think that also makes you wonder, I met Rosario, he's loved by this team and you always see him tossed up at the dugout after a big moment. That's since day one, he was acquired last year. And you know the value he brings offensively when he's right. That has not been the case for the most part this year. Outside of, I remember April, he was off to that hot start, but outside of that Rosario hasn't given you much. And it makes you wonder, the rosters expand by a bit, not as much as they used to, but by a bit come September. That's probably where they'll slide McMahon back into the fold. Take that for a rehab this weekend, probably play a game or two, then he'll be back. Rosario's thought would be in peril if not for September, which is right around the corner here. Right.
