This Jay-Z's best song?
**Chris McMonigle** (0:03)
It's gotta be top five, Jay-Z. I don't think there's any doubt. I'm trying to think what other ones I really like from Jay-Z, but...
I don't even want to play it.
**Nick Costos** (0:13)
Well, I was, we were about to.
**Chris McMonigle** (0:15)
We were about to.
**Nick Costos** (0:16)
Who shot you?
**Chris McMonigle** (0:19)
Hail Mary.
How about that? They finally convicted someone in the murder of Tupac.
**Nick Costos** (0:24)
Did you, I read, so I didn't...
**Chris McMonigle** (0:26)
I was unaware, oh, I'm surprised. I was really unaware the guy was even on trial, I think I heard about it months ago and forgot all about it.
**Nick Costos** (0:32)
This guy is like the Houston Astros of murderers.
He confessed, what a sentence. He confessed to the murder but got immunity for it. And then I skimmed the story. I think that he wrote a book and something he wrote in the book incriminated him and they were able to convict him. I think that was... I could be wrong on that.
**Chris McMonigle** (0:52)
And he was doing like podcast and anyone who was at... Anybody who wanted to interview anybody about the subject, he would volunteer to do it.
**Nick Costos** (0:58)
Well, I mean, he's probably like wakes up every day and he's like, man, I killed Tupac. No one knows that I'm dying to tell someone. I got away with it.
**Chris McMonigle** (1:03)
Exactly right. He was dying to be caught. All right, 888-808-1019. All right, so a little bit of giant stuff here.
So to me last year, one of the more refreshing things, even in a season that ultimately wasn't refreshing at all and felt exactly the same as so many others. One of the things was, and I remember specifically, beating the Eagles last year with the Giants and doing it convincingly.
**Nick Costos** (1:27)
On the Thursday night game.
**Chris McMonigle** (1:27)
On that Thursday night game and really kicking the crap out of Philadelphia. After the game, there was a lot of talk, and I actually mentioned this to Jaxson Dart when Craig and I interviewed him a couple weeks ago. The idea that him and Skattebo were brand new to the team, and they didn't care because they were being asked questions. This is the first time you've beaten the Eagles by more than a touchdown in Leba, and they were just like, I don't care what's going on in the history of the New York Giants. I wasn't here for the Eagles dominating this rivalry. This is brand new to us, and I really felt like the way Cam runs and Jaxson Dart's kind of just presence, and the way he came on and initially won that game against the Chargers and just the way he played, and the two of them kind of being these two maniac best friends, it brought like an element of kind of new to the New York Giants that was refreshing, and then Cam suffers the devastating injury, and the team kind of wasn't the same after that. Not that it was only on him, but not after that. But a couple of things that make me worry about those two, because the element of injury, right? So Cam, he pulls his foot out of his socket and it's hanging in the wrong direction, but he also runs like a maniac, right? So you're concerned and he plays the position that typically doesn't last long in the NFL, to the point where, and I'm bringing this up because in an interview, I guess yesterday, he talked about how, with Kay Adams, he referenced the idea that he was considering retirement after the injury.
And it made me just think that these two guys who are so important to this team, at least it feels that way, we'll see. Well, okay, so that's what I'm going to ask you then, because I felt like last year they were important to the team and I thought things changed after Cam went down. And obviously Jaxson Dart is far more important than Cam Skattebo. But these two guys ushering in a new, and so much is new now with him, the coach, everything.
The injury concern about Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, I don't care so much about the retirement, I don't even know if he's being serious.
**SPEAKER_4** (3:23)
But my sense is he probably is.
**Chris McMonigle** (3:25)
And I don't know if I, you can't concern yourself with that necessarily. But like...
**Nick Costos** (3:29)
Meaning like as a fan or like him?
**Chris McMonigle** (3:30)
Yeah, as like a fan.
**Nick Costos** (3:31)
