10 in front of 5, Carton Show Big Mac. Obviously, we have the Jets and Giants losing.
A little birthday cake leftovers here, too.
Chris McMonigle (0:11)
Yeah, a little birthday cake for everybody.
Craig Carton (0:13)
Why, whose birthday is it today?
Chris McMonigle (0:15)
Did I miss a birthday? That's just leftover Gallo cake. Just leftover cake.
Craig Carton (0:18)
Oh, so why were you smiling about bringing Pete a piece of cake and not me? That was, do you want some? Oh.
Chris McMonigle (0:23)
That was the, would you like one of these?
Craig Carton (0:24)
So you brought Pete a piece of cake to ask me if I wanted a piece of cake? Well, I appreciate the offer. I'm fine. Thank you. Thank you for though. I appreciate it.
Chris McMonigle (0:31)
Very generous. Thanks.
Craig Carton (0:32)
Thank you for that. I'm very good.
SPEAKER_4 (0:34)
It's better not to eat birthday cake after the birthday.
Chris McMonigle (0:36)
I agree 100%. I'm not doing that.
Craig Carton (0:37)
It's like when you eat a cake on your wedding anniversary.
Chris McMonigle (0:40)
Yeah, you take that bad boy out of the freezer. It tastes like garbage.
Craig Carton (0:42)
I don't want people to do that.
Chris McMonigle (0:43)
Better than the placenta.
Craig Carton (0:45)
Excuse me?
Chris McMonigle (0:47)
Better than the placenta. People eat that.
Craig Carton (0:49)
No.
Chris McMonigle (0:50)
Yeah.
Not a year later. Yeah. But they do. I've heard that.
Craig Carton (0:55)
No. Nobody saves the placenta to celebrate their one year anniversary, Biggs.
Chris McMonigle (1:02)
No. I agree. But they eat it.
Craig Carton (1:04)
Some cultures might cook it up for something.
Chris McMonigle (1:07)
I said some people. I didn't say the people who live next door to you. I said some people.
Craig Carton (1:10)
I think animals eat the placenta. No.
Chris McMonigle (1:12)
I think there are people who consider it like a thing. A thing? Yeah.
Craig Carton (1:15)
Is that right? Okay.
Chris McMonigle (1:17)
The placenta of what?
Craig Carton (1:19)
Your placenta. When you get birthed, the woman's placenta comes out when the baby's born. It's high in, like, I don't know, iron or something. Proteins?
Chris McMonigle (1:28)
Yeah, probably.
Craig Carton (1:29)
Proteins.
Chris McMonigle (1:30)
You've never heard that people eat the placenta?
Craig Carton (1:32)
As like a joke. Yeah. Okay. Save me the placenta for breakfast, but not as a real thing.
Chris McMonigle (1:36)
No.
Craig Carton (1:37)
No.
It's a gooey mess. Don't. This is not a place for you to speak. Because you're going to get yourself in trouble unwittingly. So I'm going to protect you from you. Eat the carbo cake and just zip your lip on this one. I love you. I'll protect you from you on this one. I promise you.
Chris McMonigle (1:52)
When your first response was the placenta of what?
Craig Carton (1:54)
Yeah.
Chris McMonigle (1:55)
Let's just sit it out.
Craig Carton (1:57)
So here we got the Jets and Giants, of course.
I know this is more of a national story, but I think we all have an opinion on it. I don't think there should be a game in France on Sunday. I really don't.
Chris McMonigle (2:10)
You mentioned that Aaron Rogers could speak out. Do you think that the NFL would listen to the players they make?
Craig Carton (2:16)
Well, the players could say we're not going.
Chris McMonigle (2:19)
They could, right? Didn't they come out? Well, I mean, I don't know if they'd be in breach of their contract. What's NFL going to do?
Craig Carton (2:26)
We're not going to Paris. It's on fire.
Chris McMonigle (2:29)
Because I remember with the grass in Rio, right? In Brazil.
Craig Carton (2:33)
They were concerned about the service.
Chris McMonigle (2:35)
And they literally said, hey, players, if you feel like it's unsafe, then tell us it's unsafe. We'll figure something out. I thought I remember reading that story. So, you would think...
Craig Carton (2:45)
This is about your physical safety. Not during the game, although I guess that could be a question also. Because you have these thousands of rioters, and people are up to no good, literally burning. You know, Paris, France right now. We've all seen the videos.
Chris McMonigle (2:59)
It's all over you.
Craig Carton (2:59)
And the NFL's sending several hundred people there, not to mention whatever the stadium holds, 60, 70,000 people, to watch them play. Where do you think the rioters are going to go?
Chris McMonigle (3:11)
Well, probably to the stadium.
Craig Carton (3:13)
I would think bigger platform, more attention, right?
