Craig Carton (0:00)

Getting ready for game two. So I've seen the video that The Call of Pride to the Break was talking about. I didn't see it. With Contreras, who was the Red Sox first baseman.

Chris McMonigle (0:09)

Yeah.

Craig Carton (0:10)

Last night. And I'm gonna show it to you.

Chris McMonigle (0:14)

Okay.

Craig Carton (0:14)

And then I'll put it out on Twitter after I show you, okay? Or should I put it out on Twitter first? Yeah. Let me put it out so that people can kind of catch up to it. All right, so.

Chris McMonigle (0:23)

I'm the least important person in this component.

Craig Carton (0:25)

No, no. Again, the audience is more important.

Chris McMonigle (0:27)

No, Joe Schmo is more important. I agree.

Craig Carton (0:28)

Yes, Joe Schmo is more important. That is correct. I'm sorry that you feel some type of way about that. It is as disgusting as the caller said. He did not exaggerate one bit. So I'll put it out. Give me one second here. I'll post this to my social media, which what's my social media handle? Craig Carton Live, I think, right?

What is Con Treris eating off of his neck? Okay, I put it out there. Are you ready to see it? Yes.

Chris McMonigle (1:06)

Should I just go to your Twitter handle?

Craig Carton (1:08)

Well, I'll just show it to you.

Chris McMonigle (1:09)

I do.

Craig Carton (1:09)

Okay. So it's obviously last night, 10, 19 last night. So middle of the game. Okay. All right. Here we go.

Contrary, she's right there. He has facial hair. Okay.

Chris McMonigle (1:22)

Yes.

Craig Carton (1:23)

Right hand starts picking up something under his ear by his neck.

Chris McMonigle (1:27)

Yeah.

Craig Carton (1:28)

And then after he picks something off his neck, he looks at it and eats it. I bet you the smells kid eats it.

Chris McMonigle (1:38)

He does.

All right. So what do we? My best guess and my vote would be.

Craig Carton (1:44)

You're going popcorn?

Chris McMonigle (1:45)

No. No, that's done. Because he had to really pull.

Craig Carton (1:49)

Yes.

Chris McMonigle (1:49)

My vote is now, and I don't know if this is disgusting or not, less disgusting. My guess is some sort of scab.

Craig Carton (1:57)

He ate his own scab?

Chris McMonigle (1:58)

I think it's some sort of just like he had a little bit of cut or something and it scabbed over and he ripped it off. It was probably very small and he put it in his mouth.

Craig Carton (2:08)

He looked at it and he put it into his mouth.

Chris McMonigle (2:12)

I think he ate his scab.

Craig Carton (2:14)

That's what it was. Whatever it was, it was stuck to his skin. It could have been a bug, so I thought maybe he likes mosquitoes.

Chris McMonigle (2:22)

Do you think a bug is more disgusting or less disgusting than a scab?

Craig Carton (2:25)

I think a bug is less disgusting than a scab.

Chris McMonigle (2:27)

Really? Scab is like your own body healing itself.

Craig Carton (2:33)

Would you rather eat a bug or a booger?

Chris McMonigle (2:36)

You see, but that's different.

Craig Carton (2:37)

Yeah, scab is a booger, basically.

Chris McMonigle (2:39)

No, a scab is on the outside, goes on the outside.

Craig Carton (2:41)

But it's actually the same thing, though.

Chris McMonigle (2:42)

A booger is like in your nose.

Craig Carton (2:44)

It's a hard-crusted booger.

Chris McMonigle (2:46)

Yeah, no, but that's inside. This is like, if the blood just hardened or something, like, you know, sometimes you have a...

Craig Carton (2:54)

Why would you eat either one of them?

Chris McMonigle (2:55)

No, of course, 100%. Putting it in his mouth after is weird.

Craig Carton (2:59)

Is weird.

Chris McMonigle (3:00)

But I think, like, eating like a bug is weirder to me. Do you think it's like a family thing? It's like a gold member, right? He eats his skin, right? The skin that falls off, he puts it in his mouth. You ever see that?

Chris McMonigle (3:10)

I don't remember that scene.

Chris McMonigle (3:11)

But like, we bite fingernails, like, we bite...

Craig Carton (3:14)

Nervous energy. Yeah. Yes, I've seen people do that.

Chris McMonigle (3:18)

I don't know if I'd swallow it, but I've had loose fingernails in my teeth. I bite off a fingernail.

Craig Carton (3:21)

I've never had a loose fingernail in my teeth.

Chris McMonigle (3:23)

You've never bit off your fingernail?

Craig Carton (3:24)

No. That's why nail clippers were invented. Oh, yeah. Why would I have...
