Gala, you know what movie this is from?
He's not even listening. 888-808.

**Craig Carton** (0:07)
What movie is it from?

**Pete Hoffman** (0:08)
We just had a weird phone call off the air.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:10)
What happened?

**Pete Hoffman** (0:12)
Am I allowed to say that, Gala, by the way?

**Craig Carton** (0:14)
It didn't involve you.

**Pete Hoffman** (0:15)
Oh, no, it didn't. I just got a phone call from somebody asking if I knew a couple of people in Texas because they had passed and they were trying to connect people that were intimate with them because they're trying to find people to close to them.
They're trying to find people to what for them? I don't really understand. They were looking for somebody.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:37)
Somebody called the radio station.

**Rick** (0:39)
You just dropped a ton of cash on the ground.

**Craig Carton** (0:41)
That's what happened.

**Rick** (0:41)
Yeah.

**Craig Carton** (0:43)
What? This could have been somebody like, you know.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:45)
Someone called you.

**Pete Hoffman** (0:46)
Me. Asked for me, directly. Asked for you.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:48)
Said, is Pete Hoffman there?

**Pete Hoffman** (0:50)
Yeah. Then asked about my mother, but didn't realize that they thought that my mother was my wife, for some reason, which is not the case. They asked when my mother had passed away, which she's very much alive.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:02)
Oh, well, good for her.

**Pete Hoffman** (1:02)
Okay. Yes. But they said that there's two people in Texas who have just recently passed away, and they're trying to locate me.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:12)
Family members or?

**Pete Hoffman** (1:14)
They were trying to locate me because I was very close with them, and I guess they wanted to share some details with me.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:21)
Well, were you close to these people in Texas?

**Pete Hoffman** (1:22)
I know. You don't know anyone in Texas?

**Craig Carton** (1:24)
The Hoffman Oil Crown in Texas just has to go find a new heir.

**Pete Hoffman** (1:28)
I know.

**Craig Carton** (1:29)
That's like a...

**Chris McMonigle** (1:30)
You hung up on them. It's like, yeah, we didn't even get to the part where he inherits the entire cattle farm.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:34)
$15 billion in a cattle farm.

**Pete Hoffman** (1:36)
That's what I was trying to figure out. I was trying to fish a little bit for that, but they wouldn't really dive in.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:40)
And so they just called you and said, hey, your wife's your mother, and people in Texas died.

**Pete Hoffman** (1:45)
Yeah. And they wanted to know if they could... They really wanted to give me some more details, but I guess I wasn't the guy.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:53)
That's weird.

**Craig Carton** (1:54)
When the Gallowine guy died, my history teacher made me write a letter to them. I know I'm not related, but he's like, who knows? Maybe you could just break me off a couple million if you are. And I'm like, all right.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:04)
You're a teacher.

**SPEAKER_6** (2:05)
Mr. Rosen, who was the man.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:07)
Mr. Rosen said the founder of the Gallowine company recently passed away. You should find out if you're somehow related, because maybe you're entitled to...

**Craig Carton** (2:17)
One detention made me write this letter.

**SPEAKER_6** (2:18)
Oh, my God.

**Craig Carton** (2:19)
And it was, they couldn't, there was no, like, living relatives that were close to them. And I would have never known you guys, because I mean, living in whatever, Sardinia.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:29)
I'm going to call Kevin McGonigle and see if there's any relation. He just signed a big contract.

**Craig Carton** (2:34)
I also know Flashdance, by the way. There you go.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:36)
Good for you. Did you hear Joel Sherman call him Chris McGonigle on MLB Network?

**Craig Carton** (2:42)
No, I didn't.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:42)
Yes.

**Craig Carton** (2:43)
He knows.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:44)
Evan texted me that.

**Craig Carton** (2:45)
He knows.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:48)
You know, if Chris McGonigle is going to turn around in Detroit, like Kevin McGonigle. I mean Kevin McGonigle. I'm out there in the zeitgeist.

**Craig Carton** (2:56)
He definitely mixed you guys up. I'm 100 percent.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:59)
I'm not even joking. I got to send you that audio, see what you guys think. Yeah.
Evan sent it to me. I'll text it to you during the break.

**Craig Carton** (3:07)
There's also a lot of people that want to like, I'll be at like friends who have no, they don't listen to the station, anything about it. And I'll be like, oh, McGonigal.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:16)
I know McGonigal. You're like, end? Professor McGonigal, let's go to Rick in Levittown. What's up, Rick?
