Craig Carton (0:00)

Four o'clock straight up.

Chris McMonigle (0:01)

Yeah, this is a pretty good air guitar one.

Craig Carton (0:03)

Carton Show. By the way, he can't sing at all anymore. No, I know. I've seen some him and David Lee Roth.

Chris McMonigle (0:24)

Gone. Oh yeah.

Craig Carton (0:25)

Embarrassingly. Yeah.

SPEAKER_3 (0:29)

But William Shatner, great.

Craig Carton (0:31)

By the way, I saw Billy Shatner on stage. He's like 90 years old.

SPEAKER_3 (0:34)

95

Craig Carton (0:34)

Not great, but 95, do you want to say?

SPEAKER_3 (0:37)

Rock and Metallica.

Chris McMonigle (0:38)

Yeah, he did Metallica.

Craig Carton (0:40)

Yeah, he came on stage and was doing like Masters of Puppets or something.

SPEAKER_3 (0:44)

Yeah, I think it was maybe Antares Sandman, but something like that, yeah.

Craig Carton (0:46)

Yeah, whatever it was.

SPEAKER_4 (0:47)

It was pretty impressive though.

Craig Carton (0:49)

I just, you know, lately, you know, I find a lot of things on TikTok, like most 12 year olds, and lately I've been seeing a lot of clips for, I guess it was a legal show named called Boston Legal. Yeah. With, what's his name from Blacklist?

The star of Blacklist.

Chris McMonigle (1:06)

Spader's one of the main lawyers.

SPEAKER_5 (1:08)

Yeah.

Craig Carton (1:08)

And Captain Nutkirk.

Chris McMonigle (1:11)

Yeah. Good show.

That's how I found Suits, by the way.

SPEAKER_5 (1:15)

I've seen clips like that.

Craig Carton (1:16)

On TikTok, even though Suits is a weird thing to me because I'm good friends with Rick Hoffman. Yeah. Get lit up, right?

When in the first season of Suits, I had a development deal with USA Network. Okay. So they called me up. That's how Hoffman and I met. And they said, look, we have a deal with you to do a show. Would you do us a favor and have this guy named Rick Hoffman come on your radio show to promote this brand new show we have called Suits. I'm like, yeah, no problem. That's how Rick and I met. I never saw a single episode. We've been friends for 20 years, right? It wasn't until TikTok like two years ago that I discovered the show Suits.

How about that?

SPEAKER_5 (2:04)

That's weird.

Craig Carton (2:05)

Because there's another show on USA Network about they're like two doctors or something.

I did a cameo on that as myself. That was a weird, weird thing to do.

SPEAKER_5 (2:14)

Two doctors? Like Nip Tuck?

Craig Carton (2:17)

Yeah, I love Nip Tuck. Not Nip Tuck. No.

SPEAKER_5 (2:19)

On USA?

Chris McMonigle (2:21)

Yeah, hold on.

SPEAKER_5 (2:22)

I'm trying to think of USA shows.

Craig Carton (2:23)

USA Network shows. Hold on.

I'm going to find it. I'll find it, don't you worry.

SPEAKER_5 (2:29)

Royal Pains?

Craig Carton (2:30)

Yeah, thanks. So Royal Pains, I think they were doctors, right?

SPEAKER_5 (2:34)

Plastic Surgeons, right?

Chris McMonigle (2:35)

Maybe. I don't know. I think it's Plastic Surgeons.

Craig Carton (2:37)

One of those that I get a phone call, we want you to be a guest on Royal Pains as yourself, which is kind of odd, right? And I did it. We filmed that in the Hamptons. I had somebody at Beachfront House or something like that. And one of the characters on Royal Pains wants to be like a talk show host. And I come in to judge this contest for who the next talk show host is going to be. And it was a very surreal experience because I'm playing myself.

It was a very weird thing to do.

SPEAKER_5 (3:07)

Yeah, I could see that.

Craig Carton (3:08)

You could probably, see if you could Google that or YouTube Google that or something and find that.

SPEAKER_5 (3:11)

So it was like the fantasy phenom kind of thing? Yeah, well, like remember the contest we used to do here?

Craig Carton (3:19)

Yeah, something like that. Yeah. But it was like, I'm the judge and I don't have to tell the kid if he's any good. I was like, oh my god, Craig Carton. He's like, that's weird.

Yeah.

Season five, episode four, what was the name of the episode? Pregnant Paws, P-A-W-S, I think. Maybe they were veterinarians, actually. I don't remember what they were, but that was my claim to fame.

SPEAKER_5 (3:46)

I think they were plastic surgeons.

Craig Carton (3:47)

No, that's Nip Tuck, though.

SPEAKER_5 (3:49)

No, I think it was like, again, what's the name of the show?

SPEAKER_3 (3:52)

Royal Pains.

SPEAKER_5 (3:54)

Yeah. I think it's like...

SPEAKER_3 (3:55)

Concierge Doctor, they say.

Craig Carton (3:56)

Ah, Concierge, but by the way, if you have the dough, highly, and I don't, highly recommend the Concierge Doctors.
