I used to get an iced coffee from Paul all the time. Now he just walks around drinking it and he refuses to get it from me because, I don't know, I guess I did him wrong somehow.

Unbelievable. All right. 888-808-1019. As we mentioned it and talked a little bit, the New York Giants, Odell Beckham Jr. has made the team. And look, he's earned it. And I'm fascinated in a wide receiver group that isn't all that talented. Let's be honest. I mean, and we'll see. Hopefully Malik Neighbors is going to be available week number one. But Odell Beckham, you know, in the final game in the preseason Friday night, we saw him have three catches for 53 yards. I do think he was able to get open. And I'm fascinated to see if that's something where he could play the slot now. Berrios was cut but re-signed and already on the practice squad, I believe. So, he carved out a niche for himself and earned his right on this team. And I just saw him practicing right now. He's wearing number three as of right now. I could, like, the Giants, I think now we're going to make a big deal of this, that Odell Beckham's back on the team. I think he's just going to work out in the number three for the next two weeks. And then Sunday night, running out onto the field, he is going to be wearing number thirteen. I don't think there's any doubt. As Jalen Hyatt was cut, Evan Neal was cut, those are the other two, you know, really disappointing. And really, the face of the failures of Joe Shane in his first go-round, and I do consider it a new go-round with John Harbaugh.
Evan Neal, a top pick, seventh overall in the NFL draft, and then obviously Jalen Hyatt, a third-round pick. And I don't know if I would classify them as all-time busts or whatever, but it's tough. Like, when you consider where he was drafted, right? And you remember Joe Shane coming in along with Brian Dable.
It was going to be a new era. We all believed in Brian Dable and what he was able to do with Josh Allen and what he was able to do with Buffalo's offense and how they had ticked up and kind of taken over that AFC East from the Patriots. And he comes over here and him and Joe Shane, it was going to be Buffalo South. And there was a lot of expectations in that first draft. He takes Evan Neal, a can't miss tackle at Alabama. That's like, when you say bust to me, the reason why Evan Neal is at, like for me, right at the top of the list of busts for the New York Giants, it's one, the position he plays. Like we have seen offensive linemen fail and bust, right? We had Flowers and like there have been Hernandez, right? Will Hernandez first pick for the Giants in the second round, a lot of expectation around him. He actually went on to have a decent career after he left the New York Giants, but he kind of failed. So it's not like they've never seen, they just traded a Zudu who they drafted in the third round. So like we've seen offensive linemen, but typically big tackles at a schools like Alabama, at the top of the draft like that, that's one you typically don't miss to the level he missed. And it's one thing not to be good, but both of those picks at the two top ten picks that Joe Shane and Brian Dable walked into in Evan Neal and Tibbido. And Tibbido's been disappointing, but at least a serviceable player. Evan Neal's been unable to function. He's been unable to function. He's been unable to stay on his feet and unable to play. And I said this before, and what really jumps out at me is they say goodbye to Evan Neal, and I guess Jalen Hyatt will be back at the team as a, you know, on the practice squad. But what drives me absolutely nuts about both of these guys is how they joined a position group that's been awful for the Giants for forever. The offensive line, you can go through all of the busts as we just, I just gave you a couple, and just year after year, whether it was the end of Eli Manning's career, Daniel Jones, like the offensive line has been the albatross around this team's neck, and specifically their offense forever. Forever. And Andrew Thomas looked like a bust after one year. And obviously now he's figured it out and become, you know, Dave Gettelman's prize pick even more so than Saquon, clearly. But to have an offensive lineman drafted inside the top 10, to have the track record he did, to have everybody expect him to be a force in this league, and to not just be that, not that, but to be unplayable for the worst unit on the team is, and it's just, it's just mind boggling. It is mind boggling. And it's really very similar with Jalen Hyatt. This has been a group. Daniel Jones went what felt like half a decade without throwing a touchdown pass to a wide receiver. Like you had to bring Hodgins back twice from nowhere to create any kind of passing game when it comes to the wide receivers. It has been a black hole.
