It actually bothers me that every other show here, within 90 seconds after the show ends, they're out the door in their cars. There's no lingering, there's no socializing. I stay for 20 minutes while you're on the air. I do a couple shots of whiskey with Gallo. We do some pop a shot, and then I go. Everyone else, out the door. 90 seconds after the show.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:21)
So while I'm hosting solo, you're out there just...

**Craig Carton** (0:24)
Hanging out, building relationships.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:26)
Building relationships.

**Craig Carton** (0:27)
Yeah.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:27)
With Anthony Gallo.

**Craig Carton** (0:28)
With Anthony Gallo.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:29)
At the pop a shot.

**Craig Carton** (0:31)
We play, so I currently have the, I think the fan record, current record, 18 consecutive made shots, a pop a shot. That's the current record I own.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:40)
That's the current record.

**Craig Carton** (0:41)
So like that happened literally yesterday. Yeah.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:45)
After the show yesterday, while I was doing the... Go get me. No, not to go get him. You do here.

**SPEAKER_5** (0:49)
Last stop.

**Craig Carton** (0:51)
That's me bonding, me building bridges in relationships with coworkers.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:55)
It's a good...

**Craig Carton** (0:56)
I talked to the kid that steals all my content, had a nice chat with him.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:00)
I can tell you spoke to him.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:01)
Yeah, we're good. He and I are on the same page now.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:03)
Very good.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:04)
Yeah.

**Craig Carton** (1:05)
So that's what I'm doing here. I'm trying to build connectivity between shows and between employees.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:10)
That's what you do. That's what I do. You're a relationship builder.

**Craig Carton** (1:13)
I'm trying.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:13)
That's what you do.

**Craig Carton** (1:14)
I can only try.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:15)
Yeah. No, but you accomplish.

**Craig Carton** (1:17)
I was talking to Billy, our producer today, earlier. Just to get to know him a little bit more.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:21)
That's right. You know?

**Craig Carton** (1:22)
Get to know him. First time he's ever produced our show.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:24)
Yeah. You gave him that trucker hat.

**Craig Carton** (1:26)
No, no, no, no. I wouldn't give Mike a hat like that. That's his hat.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:30)
Lousy hat.

**SPEAKER_6** (1:32)
It's actually Ray, but you know, shout out to Billy, whoever he's at.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:35)
Who's Ray?

**SPEAKER_6** (1:36)
Me.

**Craig Carton** (1:37)
No, I said Ray, our producer.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:39)
For sure.

**Craig Carton** (1:39)
You didn't hear that correctly. For sure, I said Billy Ray, as in Billy Ray Valentine.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:45)
Billy Ray Cyrus.

**Craig Carton** (1:48)
Here's Richard, him and I on the fan.

**Richard** (1:52)
Hi, Craig, Chris. Craig, growing up in the 70s and 80s, Thanksgiving Day, I looked forward every morning to New Rochelle vs. Iona Prep.

**Craig Carton** (2:03)
Yes.

**Richard** (2:04)
I remember Spencer Ross and the other guy was Aubrey. I forgot his name. They were great.

**Craig Carton** (2:10)
The Thanksgiving Day game back in the day that was on Channel 11 that Spencer Ross, the long-time Yankee play-by-play broadcaster, did on TV was actually, it was New Rochelle vs. Mount Vernon. Iona Prep was a big rival for us, but that was not the Thanksgiving Day when I was there. It was New Rochelle vs. Mount Vernon in a lot of years. Maybe Walter was on a thread tube, maybe. Who knows?

**Richard** (2:31)
I always remember New Rochelle. Fellas, has any city ever gone through these kind of emotions in the last six months? Six months ago, the Patriots are getting ready to play to Seattle.
And it's a close betting line. They get blown out in the Super Bowl. Blown out, embarrassed. Probably the worst Super Bowl ever. A month later, the coach is in a big scandal with his ex-wife and a girlfriend from the NBA.

**Craig Carton** (3:02)
We're not going to do every story there, Richard.

**Richard** (3:04)
Okay. All right. Then the Boston Celtics.

**Craig Carton** (3:07)
No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm sorry. I apologize.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:09)
You're getting on the Boston Sports scene?

**Craig Carton** (3:11)
Let's just fast forward real quick to the end of what you wanted to say. We know what happened this year.

**Richard** (3:17)
Celtics losing, and then Carolyn Brown going, no, the Red Sox start off terrible, terrible.

**Craig Carton** (3:24)
No, no, again, Richard, Richard, if I may. If I may.

**Richard** (3:28)
If I may.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:28)
Richard, don't ever change, buddy.

**Craig Carton** (3:30)
If I may.
I know what happened. We all know what's happened this year. I'm trying to fast forward you to today, August whatever it is, 6th, I think, right?
