And I wish I had like the whole engagement farming down because Josh Hart is an NBA champion. You can't be bigger than he is right now. He's got about 750,000 followers on Yes. And four hours he tweets out, four hours ago, hey, best spots in Miami to watch the US game tonight. You really need to ask the people on X that? I mean, the hotel that you're staying in, maybe the concierge would know that. You might have friends in Miami that they might know that. But again, I don't do stuff like that. Josh Hart, who doesn't have to do stuff like that, does do stuff like that. And I guess it works.
So I'll put it out there right now to all of you. Best spot in St. Petersburg after the Yankee game to watch the end of the US-Belgium game. Tell me, people, I mean, I don't get it. I don't get it. But he's obviously very good. Right after the Knicks won a championship, he said, well, there's gonna be a lot of golf. Anybody know any golf courses in Westchester where I could play? Really, Josh? Really? I think if you went up to Wingfoot and said, by the way, I'm Josh Hart of the world champion Knicks. Kind of think they'd let you play. But instead he puts it out there on social media. That there, I don't get it. I don't get it. I don't get the way the Yankees are playing right now either. I knew there would be a step back. I predicted it and it's come true. But to a point that I was not at all aware that it could get to. I never thought they would play this poorly. Because every faction of the game that you need in order to win games has collapsed on them in colossal fashion. The defense has been laughable. Laughable. Every single person, even Bellinger who probably is the best defender that they have. He dropped the ball over the last home stand in left field. Just dropped it. And he sheepishly said, I closed my glove before the ball got there. Volpe keeps booting balls at shortstop, opening up the door for Deval to give up more runs. They're throwing to the wrong people.
It is a total breakdown. And the reason that they actually played well at the beginning when Judge went down is because they would carry by the starting rotation. Now all of a sudden, that's not the case. Will Warren's been getting hit? Last time out, he didn't pitch that poorly. Last two starts, Cam Schlitler got hit.
Garrett Cole is doing what Tommy John pitchers do. They run into a little bit of a wall before they straighten it out. He did get a win against the Twins, but he has not pitched the way we thought Garrett Cole would pitch.
Weathers was vomiting yesterday during the game, still a product of that stomach flu that was going around the Yankee clubhouse for food poisoning, and he hasn't pitched great. He got the loss in yesterday, 6-1 loss to the Twins.
Freed is down, now Rodon is down. They called up Brendan Beck, and he pitched terribly on Saturday, but the Yankees into an immediate hole. I don't know what the answer is other than you got to shock them. It's like a body of a... Somebody just passed out on the street, their heart stopped. You got to shock them. They have to be shocked in some way. Because the thing that makes you think that they need to be shocked is when they say that they don't have focus. Unacceptable, inexcusable, embarrassing excuse.
