In regards to, for both franchises, who the starting quarterback is going to be. I think both guys gotta play. And my gut is they are going to play, but I think they both have to play. You can't go to the season two weeks from now.

I think it's more important for Dart than Gino, but he's a veteran quarterback. Like, I know.

But he's just, he's been around, he's played for multiple teams, he's been in new offenses on a year to year basis for the last seven years practically. Like, I'm not saying I wouldn't play him, I agree with you, I think he should play, but I think it's more important for Jackson Dart than it is for Gino Smith.

Why, if I had to rate the two, yes.

But they both have to play. Look, even though Gino Smith in the offense was awesome last week, seven for seven, you had the touchdown on the opening drive, it was great. He's had ten snaps with the Jets offense. And by the way, missed a bunch of practices because his anchor was banged up a little bit. Jackson Dart, he's got a whole 14 starts in his NFL career. New offensive coordinator, new head coach, some new teammates has not played with, as we said yesterday, with Millie's neighbors all that much. Not that he's going to be with the ones right now in practice. So I just don't, I don't think you could approach it as, well, what if they get hurt? Dude, it's still, it's two weeks from tomorrow to the opening of the season.

No, I know it is, but injuries can last further than two weeks.

I know that, but look, it's football. Yeah, some guys are going to get hurt. That's going to suck, right?

There's a chance he likes to be at the center of attention and had no problem being filmed in such a manner. But I don't think he was like, oh, I'll do this and it'll go everywhere.
