So there's your representation for the New York teams. Bellinger 6th, Rice 7th, Soto 2nd, Cam Schlitler is not going to pitch later. He should be starting but I digress. So shout out to Jeremy Fowler, the longtime NFL reporter who every year compiles a survey from executives, GMs, coaches, coordinators, just people around the NFL. And you put together a top 10 list. And every year the quarterback list always caused this controversy. And what stood out to me right away about the list for the quarterbacks this year is for the first time, Josh Allen has actually moved in front of Patrick Mahomes. Josh Allen is ranked number one. Patrick Mahomes is number two. And I get it, Mahomes and the Chiefs did not have a great year, and Mahomes ended up getting hurt. And I still think he'll be ready for week one. And Allen had this great year and all that. But I'm sorry. I'm still taking Patrick Mahomes over Josh Allen, given the guy that's won three Super Bowls and has played in five of them. Josh Allen has never played in one. That to me still has to matter. So right off the bat, I disagree with the list. I'd put Mahomes in front of Allen. I'd give Mahomes the respect factor. No quarterback, since Brady has really left the game, I think has earned the respect factor over the course of their careers than Mahomes. So I'm putting Patrick at number one. He had been number one in the last three years for some context. Mahomes is number one. And I think the only reason why people would have some doubt has nothing to do with him would be the supporting cast that Kansas City has had around them. The Chiefs have had zero running game.
And they haven't had legitimate wide receiver threats on the outside. And Travis Kelce, congrats on getting married, all that. He's an older player. He's 36 years old. He's not obviously what he once was. So I still would put Mahomes at one, you could put Allen at two. Now number three on the list was Matthew Stafford. He was six on the list a year ago. He's coming off an MVP season. Matthew Stafford might be old, but he's still a baller. The only thing with Stafford you worry about is can he stay healthy? If he's healthy, Rams hosting the Super Bowl in their building, all sides point to them, by the way, getting Aaron Donald back on their team will come out of retirement after leaving the last two years, and he'll play for them again. Imagine him and Miles Garrett on the same defensive line. All the rumors seem to point to the fact that's going to happen.
Stafford number three, Joe Burrow number four. Again, this is not my list. This is the Espn list. I'll give you my, after we go through it. Burrow four, Lamar five, Dac six, Herbert seven, Drake May eight, Jared Goff nine. And here's the one that I just, I don't get. Caleb Williams number 10

There was someone that ranked him as high as six in Jeremy Fowler's survey. And his lowest ranking was someone didn't rank him in the top 10, which would have been me. The first thing that stood out when I gave you that top 10, where is Sam Darnold? Sam Darnold's been a top 10 quarterback the last two years, is he not?
