That's right.

Yeah, because he set up his own sister's husband, his brother-in-law, with a lady of the evening to blackmail them over some like real estate deal or something.

Blackmail because the sister was testifying in front of the federal grand jury.

Right. What a wonderful family.

And he videotaped the encounter between his brother-in-law and his hooker that he paid 25 grand for.

Come on, she's pretty good looking. And then he sent the videotape to his own sister on the day of her son's engagement party, an engagement party that he was going to attend.

Yeah, it's a special family, which was it Jared or Josh Kushner? The one that just bought the Lakers?

Jared Kushner married Trump's daughter.

Yes, married to Ivanka. There you go.

Yeah, that's how this relationship began. And then I remember when I got the job in 2007, you took me to Shea Stadium.

Yes.

**Craig Carton** (2:21)
And you guys had season tickets on the third baseline. And I went with your family. And we were sitting next to each other at a nondescript Met game, and you were about to become governor, I think.

**Chris Christie** (2:33)
Well, I was still US.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:34)
Attorney. You weren't governor yet.

**Chris Christie** (2:35)
I was not governor yet. I was going to be governor two years from now.

**Craig Carton** (2:37)
And you said, if someone had said to me that you'd be the morning guy at the fan and I might be the New Jersey governor, I would have them drug test and probably thrown away.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:48)
Yeah, well, and here we are.

**Chris Christie** (2:49)
And here we are. And with a few stops in between for both of us.

I was on a federal government vacation, sponsor vacation.

**Chris Christie** (2:56)
Well, yeah, you are. But by the way, free federal housing is free federal housing.

**Craig Carton** (3:00)
It was free. It was. People don't know that Governor Christie came to visit me when I was locked up.

**Chris Christie** (3:05)
I did.

**Craig Carton** (3:06)
And I got a flat tire on the way. Was about three hours late to the visit.

**Chris Christie** (3:11)
Yeah.

**Craig Carton** (3:11)
But still showed up. I did. In a rental car.

**Chris Christie** (3:14)

That's right.

I'm telling you, it was free. Now, how did I know that my car had no spare?

**Craig Carton** (3:21)
Yeah, that's right. It was a nice car. I won't say the brand, but you had a nice car that didn't have a spare. But the best part of the story, when you came to visit me, was there are rules about visiting people in federal prison.
