Hello, my friends, and welcome back to Cloud Wars Minute. We're on the verge of having a lot of calendar Q2 financial results release. So just in advance of that, I wanted to offer a snapshot of where things stand now regarding the world's hottest cloud and AI vendors. And right now we've got Palantir in the number one spot, Google Cloud number two, Oracle number three. I've got a detailed article coming up later this morning on Cloud Wars that offers more specifics about each company, what's going on, some trends that I see happening and where this is headed, along with a pretty interesting chart that while these numbers reveal what's happened in the recent past with revenue, I've also got a chart in there showing backlog or RPO, which is future booked business that's fully contracted, fully committed. Among the four hyperskillers that now totals over $2 trillion.
But in the here and now, here's where it stands for the Cloud Wars top 10 companies.
Palantir, the number one spot for Q1, their overall growth rate was 85 percent, revenue 1.63 billion. Over here, I've got the dates of the last quarter results for each company. So far and away, number one, Palantir. Google Cloud, huge growth the last few quarters, now up to 63 percent, 20 billion. I make an impassioned argument in the article that will be up later this morning on Cloud Wars about why it's so silly for people who say, oh, well, Google Cloud, it's not surprising their growth rate is higher than that of Microsoft or AWS. They're so much smaller. Technically, that's true. Logically and in the real world, it's absurd.
Oracle, 47% growth, almost $10 billion in revenue. We've got then Microsoft, enormous performance here, 29% growth, $54.5 billion in quarterly cloud revenue.
AWS, a very strong quarter, 28% growth, $37.6 billion in revenue. Then we've got ServiceNow, up 22% in growth, $36.7 billion. We had Workday, 14% growth, $2.4 billion. Salesforce in the number nine spot, with 13% growth. That includes, for the first time, the contributions from Informatica. And that is $11.1 billion for their latest quarterly revenue. And then the oddball here is OpenAI. It's not publicly traded. I suspect that later this year, it will be. So these are just estimates. But my guesstimate on this is 60% growth rate, $5 billion for the enterprise side revenue for on a quarterly basis. But again, they're not yet publicly traded. So a couple of the things here, and I mentioned this in the article, right? You know, you see some of these numbers. And as I referred to a moment ago about the backlog number, which are truly just mind-bending, we get, I guess, a little bit jaded or we become immune to being amazed by the size, the volume here. I do not throw around the phrase, the greatest growth market the world has ever known lightly.
This is something that I've researched. There's nothing else has approached this, the magnitude, the growth rates. And not only that, but this is not something like, oh, wow, this is going to last for a short time and then in order to be saturated. We're seeing the big hyperscalers start to merge into energy companies back and forth. The, what were applications companies for years are now racing and becoming agentic companies and data companies. So huge change and transformation within the Cloud Wars Bob 10 to react to and better serve the customers who are looking to participate in, succeed in and potentially thrive in the AI economy that's coming. So I wanted to give a little snapshot here of where things currently stand. Well, I don't expect any massive changes in this lineup, but the growth numbers will be very interesting to see over the next few weeks. And in early August, I'll do an update on this chart and see where everybody stands. Thanks for being with us here at Cloud Wars Minute. I hope you have a fantastic day.
