This video is sponsored by Terrahutton, who makes the invisible, investible. Today, we're going to see you barbecue gold exploration in the Yukon together with Blue Jay Gold.
But if you're short on time, subscribe to our free newsletter, and once a week, we'll send you a five-minute summary of all interviews we put out, theresourcetalks.com for a free weekly newsletter. Now, although this company has not paid us for the production of this video, you should still understand that we are not financial advisors, and this is not intended as financial advice. It is a broad, general, and in-personal piece of information intended only for those who know and understand the risks of junior mining, of which there are many. Before moving on, read the company's official filings on Sitterplus.ca and do your own due diligence. Pause the screen and read all the disclaimers I've shown you because your capital is at risk. If this isn't clear, go to the last section of this video for a longer explanation of the risks and biases, and do not consume this content if you don't agree with everything said therein. Moving on, Blue Jay's flagship is called Steller, and it's a high-grade epithermal gold-silver vein system that's located about 55 kilometers south of Whitehorse in Yukon's Whitehorse mining district. The asset has been worked on multiple times historically, and it's already got a recent, so it's not a historic, a recent NI-43-101 on it from October of last year, showing just a little under a million ounces of gold across the categories, although I know you're not supposed to mingle those. So it was estimating 400,000 ounces of gold equivalent and indicated at 9 grams per ton gold equivalent, plus 450,000 ounces of, again, gold equivalent, sitting in inferred at 6.5 grams per ton of, again, equivalent. About 85% of what makes up the amount of gold equivalent is actually gold. Right now, they're drilling their own maiden program. Again, that's what has been drilled before, but this is the first time Blue Jay is drilling on it themselves, and that's going to include up to 16,000 meters. It's aimed at resource expansion plus some new discovery targets, which of course we'll be asking about later on in the conversation.
Near-term catalyst here would be obviously those assays from that drill program. They're going to be expected to flow through the second half of 2026 and potentially support a resource update on the back of that if the step-outs deliver. Again, that's something we'll be asking about later on in the conversation.
Now, the Yukon is just briefly not the only place that Blue Jay has got assets in. They also hold three projects, also gold projects in Ontario. Although again, we'll try to get an update on them later on in the latter part of the conversation. Maybe just briefly, they're not going to be the focus of the conversation because they're not the focus of the company right now. There's minimal work happening there. Again, the focus will be that Yukon project just outside of Whitehorse. Now, for some of the numbers and a bit of the details here, Blue Jay is actually a spin-out. It's spun out from Riverside Resources not too long ago, and they've just recently got listed under their own ticker symbol. Ticker symbol now is J. That's J-A-Y on the TSX-V happened about a week ago, and so far the average volume has been about 60,000 units.
Since listing, the stock has been as high as $1.00 and as low as $0.60, with currently a little under 48 million shares outstanding and a $30 million market cap. Today, this is a $0.63 stock. There are close to 10 million warrants, and there are no options actually, but the warrants represent about 17.5% of the fully diluted, 57.5 million shares to be specific. The last time Blue Jay raised money was April 8, 2026, when they closed a brokered private placement for close to $15 million. So it was a mix of non-flow through and flow through price, respectively, at $0.80 and $1.05. How much money do they have left right now? How much money are they gonna need for that 16,000 meter drill program? And will they have to get back to the market this year? Are of course questions that we'll be asking later on in the conversation. But for this to actually become a conversation though, I will have to stop the monologue and shut up already. And Geordie, I'll give you the word. But first of all, thank you for sitting down with us today.

**Geordie Mark** (4:14)
Yeah, great to be on and thanks for the time.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:18)
Thanks for joining, Geordie. Just to set the stage here a bit, you got a resource. Walk us through the business strategy for BlueJJR. So you got a resource.
