Welcome to Two Sixteen, A Link to the Past Randomizer Podcast. I am your host, Fear Agent, back with another excellent show for you today. Today on the show, we've got I Am Cody. I had the pleasure of meeting Cody in Seattle when we had a little meetup, which we released here on the Two Sixteen Podcast. Only knew Cody through passing, really. So getting a chance to sit down and chat with him was a great time. We're gonna talk a lot about the new ladder coming up that he's developed and just his story. So you're definitely going to want to tune in for this one. It's a good one. So the League is in its playoff bracket now. In fact, it's into round two now and Three Off the T is not in the second round. We ended up losing 0-2 to Sphere Funnity. Congratulations to them. Big GGs to GFE, Peatrain and Joola Ninja.
They beat us. We had some really close races. The first one was a co-op Inomizer. And both teams last located the Mirror in the top of Thieves Town. In Inomizer, you just never do the back of Thieves Town. It was in the attic. Since you can just rush the boss, there's usually no reason to go back there. Of course, the Mirror was up in the attic. And that just unlocked the rest of the seed. It was a really kind of jet-seed. They got to it first. Beer and I did some stuff out of logic. So I don't know if we were necessarily behind, because we were efficient in what we were doing. But we definitely got to the Mirror after they did. And we were able to skip a couple things. And yeah, I just got super far behind. I ended up not finishing that one. So tough loss there, but kind of expected GFE being a big Anomizer fan, like one of the biggest in the community. So understandable to lose there. Still frustrating, super frustrating to lose. But again, understandable. So we knew that we could have at least one more game. And that was with myself in GMO versus Julo Ninja and GFE doing crosskeys. We lost by 27 seconds, which we also last located, I want to say, was also the mirror. I think it was in Turtle Rock this time. We hard last location did, which they did not. And because of that, they beat us by 20 seconds. That was really frustrating. That was a really, really, really frustrating loss. And in the moment, I said in the interview that was probably my last race.
And it's been a couple weeks. It's been, you know, two weeks since that happens. And I still feel the same way. Like I thought maybe it was maybe just the tilt of losing and being knocked out would keep me out or make me not want to play anymore, which is kind of been my MO anyways. But you know, I've had time away. I haven't played since that race, which was April 21st. So yeah, like nine days ago. And yeah, no desire. I do really think that it's that's it. It's not going to change anything here on Two Sixteen. I think I really enjoyed this aspect. I enjoy talking to people in the community and kind of, yeah, just I'm more about the people than I am the game at this point. So, you know, League will come back next year and it's going to be, you know, 12 months until that happens. And we'll see where I'm at there. I'm never going to say never, but, man, I just don't know. I don't know if I want to ever play really again. I have no desire. Like, solo racing is definitely not for me. So, like, I'm not going to be joining, like, Crosskeys, not going to join the main tournament, whatever other tournaments are going on. Just no real desire to do that. So, that might be it for all fear agent here on the racing front. League is always tough. I didn't think I was going to do it this year, but because it has a special place in my heart, and I really do love the co-op aspect of it, I'll never say never, but I'd be surprised if I joined next season. I do want to shout out Homie Beer and Jammo, though. Like, really enjoyed playing with them. Really appreciate them bringing me on. It's hard not to feel like I weighed them down and cost us the season because I was involved in both losses. But, they were awesome teammates. And, you know, I've known Beer for a while. I met him in person a couple of times and just really like hanging out with Beer. So that was cool. And getting to know Jammo and then having him on the show was really awesome as well. So, yeah, really appreciate Three Off the T for having me join. And I just had a lot of fun with them. And, you know, that was kind of the point of League, is to have fun with them. So, looking at the invitational playoffs, all winners went 2-0, which is pretty nuts. So, the Ted O'Shells or Raylington Cure team went 2-0 against M-I-D-M was supposed to carry us. That's Garrison, Vex, Stofer and Norske Maddie. Toonfinny and Pagog, the champions from last season are out. They lost to Tamm's Triple Potato Pouch Mayhem, which is Bango, Brogore and Thalane. They also went 2-0. Banana Brigade, Crackerito, Yoshi and Tito's went 2-0 against the Drifters. And that just shows you like the Drifters are really good runners, megawatt, drac and jet, you know, champions in league and in other tournaments. But those guys don't play as much. It just happens. And so, and they ended up getting knocked out 2-0. Sticky Priests vs. Team Himay. Sticky Priests going 2-0 there. That was one that was tough for me because I was rooting for both those teams. But the Sticky Priests being Zelga, Shady and Dr. Marty. So the Sticky Priests will be playing the Banana Brigade. And then, Schulzer's team will be playing against Tamm's Triple Potato Patch Mayhem team in round two. On the other side of the bracket, we've got Usedbo going 2-0 against JKLOL. I think JKLOL is going to record an end-to-end-of-season wrap-up. So I think that should be coming. I don't know when, but I know they were talking about it after the season ended. And it's over thanks to Usedbo. I mentioned Spherefunity knocking us out 2-0. Don't forget the Trakkas, 2-0 against the Pugs. So the Pugs are out. Dantty, Worf, Jake and Andy in the first round get 2-0ed. And then Crystal Roller Crew 2-0ed Agus Backup Dancers. Agus Backup Dancers being Bred, Hitman and Amerith. So in round two on that side of the bracket, we've got Usedbo versus Spherefunity. And don't forget the Trakkas versus Crystal Roller Crew. Don't forget the Trakkas, man, is just a team that never goes away. They're they're just so tough. I feel they are super underrated and they're always in the playoffs and they're always winning matches that people don't think they're going to win. So watch out for them. It's going to be a fun match up between Crystal Roller Crew because they're pretty good too. In the open, Three Guys One Lever beat the Joy of Rando 2-0. Hyrule Hooligans beat No French Fries 2-0. The Long Shots went 2-1 versus Yaps and Naps. And Third Try Blind beat Relegation Chest Boots 2-1. So in the conference semifinals, these teams are all playing for a spot in the Invitational next season. A team, I think this is a German team, Osora, Buddhist Man, and C-Fate 91 I'm not going to try to pronounce their name. Something about being toxic. Are going up against three guys, one lever. That's Iconic, Exus, and Calamarino. That's game number one. In the second matchup, Missing Two Bows, that's Alex, 2k6, Tali, and Krom. They had a bye. Are going against the Hyrule Hula Hands. The Hyrule Hula Hands are Bumble, Steinick, and Deardash. So some German runners all racing together, that's cool. Blackjack and Hookshots, they had the bye.
