Today, I want to show you a new update with Hermes. So this is Hermes bot screen. Basically, what you can do is you can command Hermes over here, and then with computer use, it can have its own screen in the cloud over here that you can control with a Hermes agent, which is pretty fun. And this is a bit more technical to set up than what you would normally do with Hermes, but I'll guide you through the process. It's a brand new system that's just dropped. And basically, what you're doing here is you have a headless Linux gateway host and each agent gets his own desktop. So I'll walk you through exactly how that works and how it's running and how to use it in a second.

This is a free update as well.

And so the way this works is basically your Hermes bot can now get its own desktop. It's like a real screen of a mouse, keyboard, terminal, browser. And so you can watch it work live. And this is running locally here. And then if we run Hermes inside terminal, which we've got over here, we can basically give it tasks to run through, and we can watch it work there. So for example, we go and we say, can you go to juliangoldie.com for me? You can see that it's navigated to this over here. Now, the useful thing about this is basically you can give Hermes agent its own computer basically in the cloud here. It doesn't mess up your existing screen. And also you can preview what it's doing in the background. You can give it tasks. And it's kind of like a way of giving Hermes agent its own computer. Very similar to Grokbot. If you've come across Grokbot, this has a similar setup where you can give your agents a computer in the cloud. So you can see here, for example, Hermes has come back to me and said, I'm at juliangoldie.com. Quick read of the page. Julian Goldie is an SEO link builder, blah, blah, blah. And it's like, what do you want to do from here? You know, do you want me to book in a free SEO strategy session or what do you want? And so it can quickly navigate to this page. Now, you might be wondering, okay, how does it work? What is it?

How to set up?

So the way to think about this is with bot screen. Normally, your agent doesn't have a separate screen like this. So it can run commands, it can run web pages, it can read web pages in the background, and you never see anything. You don't really get full visibility over how it's working or what it's working on. With this system, bot screen basically gives each Hermes agent its own desktop and a Linux server. It's a little bit like having Trio Marci if you've ever seen that. So Trio Marci is a way of using Hermes agent on a separate Linux setup like so.

And this is another free open source setup. So we can use Hermes agent with Trio Marci over here.

That's what it reminds me of. But basically, each Hermes agent gets its own screen, its own browser, and its own saved logins as well. So if you're wondering how to use this, how to set it up, you can run the terminal commands, which we've got inside our guide. I actually don't recommend that. I think you're going to save a lot of time if you just ask Hermes agent, set this up. So for example here, I went into Opus 5.5 and said, can you create a guide on this plus test it, set it up, etc. And then it actually went off and created all of the setup here, because it's got to create a separate instance inside Docker, as you can see here, so we've got Hermes screen, and that's just running the background. And that's how we can basically give Hermes its own screen in the background. Now, this is a little bit more technical to use than using Hermes agent normally, and that's why I don't recommend using the terminal commands to set this up. I think you'd get better results if you just ask Hermes agent or Opus 5.5 to set up for you.

Now, you could also give it a schedule task, which is pretty interesting. So, for example, you could say to Hermes agent and that instance inside your terminal here, you can say, do this every single day, and it will run inside its own computer over here. And you could even, for example, ask it to save that and save that instance and everything else. So basically, it's got its own container image inside Docker, and you can run it with scheduled jobs.
