It's been a mission. 15 billion views, 1 million subscribers in the first two weeks when you guys launched. That's a crazy stats. And I basically want to get into it right away. How did you guys do 1 million subscribers in the first two weeks?

**Max Maher** (1:23)
Yeah, so I have a background in content. So I will say I had a million subscriber channel myself before we did anything Clean Girl.
But when we started, really, it was one of those ideas where you have the idea, and it's like, oh, wow, this actually could be huge. So for some context around Clean Girl, this was a girl who was out saving dogs, cleaning houses for free because it made her feel good. She owned a home cleaning business. It was one of those things where it's like, first off, it's just obvious the world needs more of that kind of positivity.
And when we were thinking about it, we were like, well, cleaning videos can get high viewership. You can have a satisfying cleaning video with a million views, 2 million views. But the more we had thought about it, we were like, but no one has taken cleaning plus just typical viral techniques and combine those into one with a great character and persona who actually wants to do these things. And like I said, it was one of those ideas where it's like, the more you think about it, the more you're like, actually, this could be huge. You know, we could have content that not only entertains, but it's a good business because it's aligned with cleaning products and then also gives the audience like a spark to make their own world a little bit brighter. So we decided to run a couple small tests. You know, we made like a few iterative videos of one concept just to test things out and immediately we saw the results. So yeah, like you said, it was like 12 days from like 5,000 subscribers to a million subscribers, and it just blew up like immediately. And we were like, all right, well, we're doing this.

So you can see Stacey had a channel where she wasn't posting ever. But then when we started posting, you know, it's such a fast takeoff that it's hard to even like get the, to get it. But you can see, all right, we're at like, I don't know, 5,000, around 7,000 right there, and then move it a little bit, and a million.

That's crazy. That's two weeks.

**Max Maher** (3:30)
Yeah, it was absolutely insane. As far as I can tell, it's the fastest channel to hit a million subscribers that isn't like a celebrity going on to YouTube. You know, someone who already had a following ahead of time.

How many shorts was that?

**Max Maher** (3:44)
It was like eight.

**Richard** (3:46)
So, eight shorts to get a million subscribers. And I don't know how many views was that in two weeks, but that must have been crazy. And actually, it'll be interesting because your subscribers are going up so fast. I'm curious by the end of the pod, that what 800,000, 34,819. Let's say at the end of it, how many we are.

**Max Maher** (4:06)
Yeah, it was kind of funny because I had a million followers or subscribers on my personal channel, and that took like five years. And then we just blew that out of the water in 12 days or whatever. So it's like, oh, wow, that really made that accomplishment feel a little bit smaller.
