Rollo Tomassi (0:40)
On my mark.
Kyle (0:41)
We're on express elevator to hell.
Rollo Tomassi (0:45)
Two, one, mark.
SPEAKER_5 (1:07)
Gee, where did this great intro music come from? Such a good band.
Kyle (1:17)
People keep telling me I shouldn't have intro music, you shouldn't do a video, or you shouldn't do intro anything. And I'm like, do that. You need that.
SPEAKER_5 (1:28)
No.
Kyle (1:29)
What do you say to that? No. It will always be a musical interlude for a talk show that I do once a week.
That guy must like to hear himself talk all the time. It's like, yeah, I do, actually. What I do on Sundays, live from Las Vegas, Nevada, on The Rational Male.
SPEAKER_5 (1:49)
Oh boy.
Kyle (1:50)
Here we go.
Oh my gosh. Okay.
SPEAKER_5 (1:55)
I almost feel bad about putting this one up, but go ahead. There we go. Alan, talk to us.
SPEAKER_6 (2:00)
I was 205 when I got cast, I was a scraggly scrawny.
SPEAKER_7 (2:03)
I thought I was big. I was always playing superheroes.
SPEAKER_6 (2:05)
I look back at those photos now and I'm like, oh my God, I look like a kid, like a marathon runner.
SPEAKER_7 (2:10)
I was 205, 6'3, 205
SPEAKER_6 (2:12)
I needed to put on 30 pounds for the role.
SPEAKER_7 (2:16)
I needed to be at least 235 That was my mandate from the studio.
SPEAKER_8 (2:19)
You cannot show up to set without being free.
SPEAKER_5 (2:21)
Okay, I want to know now. Put this into context because everybody's debating this for real. All right. Was this on...
Was it on season one or was it on season four that he's talking about all this? Bad echo, bad echo.
SPEAKER_9 (2:42)
Yeah, it was on the video. It's not on your voice.
SPEAKER_7 (2:44)
It's not on my voice? Yeah, it's on the video.
SPEAKER_5 (2:45)
Is it on echo cancellation?
SPEAKER_9 (2:47)
Yeah, I already turned that on.
SPEAKER_5 (2:49)
Here, let's see if we can do it.
SPEAKER_8 (2:50)
I had eight months to do it. I built a gym in my house, and I worked my ass off.
SPEAKER_6 (2:55)
You cannot believe how hard I worked.
SPEAKER_8 (2:57)
Every day, like it was my life depended on it. Hour, two hours a day. So in that amount of time, I could put the muscle on. And I did it without any help. No steroids, no testosterone, nothing. Just hard work. So I get through it, but it also kept me. I was like, I had to get surgery after the season, and it was rough.
And so I get done with the season. I'm super fatigued. I'm like, things aren't working on my body.
SPEAKER_6 (3:21)
I can't breathe.
SPEAKER_8 (3:22)
I'm like, I don't know what's going on.
SPEAKER_6 (3:23)
I work out all the time.
SPEAKER_8 (3:24)
It should be feeling better. And I go to the doctor and let's do a blood panel. He's like, oh, you have no testosterone. I was like, okay. I guess I beat it out of myself.
So we started on testosterone. And it was like, oh my God, like a new me, like a new me. And ever since then, you know, it makes my job.
SPEAKER_5 (3:44)
When I first saw this, I thought, is he talking about like putting on muscle for season four for the entire four seasons, episodes for four episodes or four seasons? Right. If he's if he's talking about from season one to season four, the possibility that he might have put that kind of muscle on is doubtful at best. But he just said eight months. I had eight months to put put 30 pounds of muscle on. That's what he did say. Yeah, pretty much. Right.
Alan, I love you. You know, like, OK, no homo.
SPEAKER_7 (4:17)
He's going to man crush.
SPEAKER_5 (4:19)
OK, let me just explain something to you here. You are not putting on that kind of I need Todd Lee, MD to come on and say, is it humanly? Even with gear doing like West Watson levels of trend, I'm not sure you could put on 30 pounds of like lean muscle in eight months, eight months. I mean, you I mean, you still got to eat like a fiend as it is, obviously. But like, I'm is that even humanly possible?
I disagree. Anyways, I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on the Internet. But I'm going to ask Tom, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to go see if Todd Lee concurs, if he thinks that that is something he would have to do. Now, granted, the dude was yoked as hell on this last season. He looks bigger. He does look drier. He looks like way because he always has the ubiquitous shirts off scene where he's messing around with some chick who actually on this one, he's the enemy. Turns out to be the bad guy.
