I hope this kind of podcast or whatever helps a little bit as well. At least we are talking for a long time, even if it's about an appetite or it's talking, so it helps in some way.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:24)
Yeah, probably.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (0:26)
Yeah, definitely. Okay, so let's go into the business ideas.

**SPEAKER_4** (0:33)
Yeah.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (0:35)
Okay. So do you want to start or I should start?

**Alex Kostinskyi** (0:38)
I don't have any news. I don't think so.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (0:41)
I mean, you can discuss, we can brainstorm about Esquela death. Or I can start. Okay.

**Alex Kostinskyi** (0:50)
Yeah, maybe you start. I'll hug along.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (0:53)
Okay, cool. So the idea that I had is the gyms for old people. So like only for like 60 plus. And so because it requires, I went to my gym and it was like, well, you've been there. It's just like lots of metal that you just lift or lots of machinery that you pull. And there are some classes as well with like yoga and stuff where like almost everybody is a girl. Sometimes women like 40 plus, but very rarely. And so a lot of old people are just intimidated by the gyms. They just don't use it. And I judged by my parents, they don't want to go there because they feel intimidated. And I thought like, well, this is, you know, the declining population is a trend. The aging population is a trend almost in every developed country. And so far there is no like franchise for old people gym because you need another type of exercise. You need lots of stretching, walking, like very lightweight kind of stuff. And it's more like a social gathering for them as well. So I thought like, well, that's an opportunity.
Because old people usually, well, old people, 60 plus, let's call them that. They have money for the gym for sure. They crave new connections and they would like the social environment. And they definitely need the gym more than the, you know, teenagers who just want to go there for the looks, but the old people, they need it to live a healthy life.
So yeah, and I thought like, okay, so this is an opportunity, and basically you don't need even much machinery. All you need is just some local trainers, right? So you would rent like some places locally. They don't have to be large places because it's just basically like stretching, maybe lightweight exercises. You don't need machinery. You can use some lightweight dumbbells, rubber bands, all kinds of stuff. Maybe massage table as well to have like extra services. Like, hey, here you can do like massage. You can check your eyesight or whatever at the place. And you can invite sometimes some kind of doctor or nutritionist. Like every week it would be somebody different who could like consult them or do like a small lecture or something like that. So it would be like interesting. So and also they could check their health. And so it's like the doctor would get paid and yeah, you will have, it could be like a separate paid session apart from their membership. Like if you want, there's like special lectures, you can just pay and you can attend and they will check your health and teach you the steps. So yeah, and then the doctor gets the majority of the revenue, you get the cut and everybody's happy. Anyway, so like gyms for 60 plus, that's my idea.

**Alex Kostinskyi** (4:28)
Yeah, I think it depends if all of those things are interesting for seniors, let's say. I think my gym seems to, not predominantly, but at least 50% are older people. And what they seem to be really popular there, it seems like they have an aqua gym. A lot of people go into the pool and do this aqua gym stuff. And then there's rooms where they do, I don't know if it's dancing class or dancing lessons, or sometimes they do more. But it seems like a group exercise. So yeah, of course, there are seniors, who seniors could go into the machines and do some heavy lifting or some, but majority, they seem to go to these classes. Because it's all, as we said, like it's something that they also want in needing the social interaction.
Yeah.

**Gianfranco Palumbo** (5:36)
Damn, my idea is not original. But no, I think it is still, even though they can attend the regular gyms, but again, as you said, 60 percent, it's another type of environment, right? It's made for the gym experience. You go there for the gym experience, you don't go for your peers doing similar stuff experience. So it's another type of experience.
