The following haunt cast may contain theme park parking, road rage, empty yet relaxing chocolate emporiums, trains that are also crazy, and the fictional rapper, Cool Dr. Money. All this plus, Aniz Adam Ansari joins us to talk Halloween Horror Nights 2026 on today's haunt cast, The Ride.

Scott Gairdner (1:29)

Welcome, Foolish Mortals, to Haunt Cast The Fright. I am Scott Scary Farm. Oh, wow. That's pretty clean, right?

Michael Carlson (1:37)

That's pretty good, yeah.

Scott Gairdner (1:38)

Nine years, we haven't gotten to that one before. I think that's pretty solid.

Michael Carlson (1:42)

Well, let's get a round of applause in here. Hey, hey, hey, fantastic.

Scott Gairdner (1:46)

Thank you for calling for it. We don't got a sign or nothing. Thanks for doing a verbal applause sign. But how does it stack up against my co-hosts?

Michael Carlson (1:54)

Well, my name, of course, during this frightful season is the blood maker, Michael Carlson.

Scott Gairdner (2:02)

Which is a pun of taste.

Michael Carlson (2:04)

That's right. They call me the taste maker during non-Halloween months.

Scott Gairdner (2:07)

How better to parody the word taste than the word blood?

Michael Carlson (2:10)

Blood, yes.

Scott Gairdner (2:10)

Well, we're all blood makers. Our body, our human body.

Michael Carlson (2:14)

I looked up in the rhyming dictionary what rhymes with tastes and horror related things, and the closest thing was like waste. But then it sounds like I just shit a lot. So I can't be the waste maker.

Scott Gairdner (2:24)

Horrifying in some way.

Michael Carlson (2:26)

I guess it could be like the Sewer of Souls, the Six Flags Fright Fest maze where there's a big pile of shit and I could be the waste maker and I'm just shitting my brains out.

Scott Gairdner (2:36)

I think you just answered your own question.

Michael Carlson (2:38)

So I'm the waste maker now, you mean?

Jason Sheridan (2:39)

I think you're gonna have to be...

Michael Carlson (2:40)

I'm the waste maker now. It's just the Halloween season. It's a little creepy.

Scott Gairdner (2:43)

I'm writing it down. I'm putting it in for future episodes.

Michael Carlson (2:46)

You are locked in as the waste maker.

Scott Gairdner (2:49)

I'm the waste maker. But the third in our consortium...

Jason Sheridan (2:57)

I am Jason Shudders.

Michael Carlson (3:04)

Because I'm scared.

Scott Gairdner (3:07)

That's a lot of fun. Oh, my God. Okay. Well, I really like that. I'm gonna make you enact that in future...

Michael Carlson (3:15)

I like the acting. Yeah.

Scott Gairdner (3:16)

Yeah, I know.

Michael Carlson (3:16)

Yes.

Scott Gairdner (3:17)

I plan on it.

Jason Sheridan (3:19)

Yeah, yeah.

Scott Gairdner (3:20)

I loved it. It was great. Well, here we are. We're kicking off spooky season. I'm excited about it. And I'm excited to bring our guest into it, who's joined us for some frightful activities in the recent past, who is a long overdue guest on Podcast The Ride, on Haunt Cast the Fright, in particular.

Less slots in those. Look, it all makes sense. All right. So, from Master of None, from the studio, from Loot, and a long time consigliary of Podcast The Ride, it's Aniz Adam Ansari. What's going on?

Aniz Adam Ansari (3:51)

I guess today I'm Aniz Adam Ansari.

Michael Carlson (3:54)

Oh, that's so good. That is good.

Scott Gairdner (3:57)

Adam, I'm locking that in too. Adam Ansari. What is that, like and scary?

Aniz Adam Ansari (4:03)

Adam's like damned.

Scott Gairdner (4:04)

Oh, yes. Yeah. But then is the and turn into and?

Michael Carlson (4:07)

And I just want to get it right. No, just and. No, just and. Good clarification. All right.

Scott Gairdner (4:12)

I want to make sure just to officially log it for tax purposes.

Aniz Adam Ansari (4:15)

Yes, tax purposes.

Michael Carlson (4:16)

Yes.

Aniz Adam Ansari (4:17)

Thank you for having me on. Longtime shadow conciliary of the podcast.

Michael Carlson (4:21)

A member of, I've referenced Serious Toy Collector chat.

Aniz Adam Ansari (4:24)
