Halloween Countdown 2026: Case 9: Dad's Front Teeth

Danny Robins (0:03)

Hello, hello, today's potentially paranormal experience comes from Sophie, who says, In February 2019, my dad sadly passed away. On the morning before he died, my mum and I went to visit the hospital, not knowing that it would be the last time we would see him. When we got there, we noticed that his two front teeth were missing. One of the medical staff had removed them at some point, and we never found them. After dad died, we decided that he should be buried in a natural burial ground near Baff. It was a beautiful place, no headstones, just wild and full of nature. A couple of weeks after he was buried, we went there to lay some flowers. When we got there, my mum looked down and right there, on top of dad's grave plot, were two teeth.

They were exactly like my dad's. My mum was upset. She thought I'd put them there, but I hadn't. To this day, we don't know how they got there. My mum and I were the only people to see him in the hospital and none of the hospital staff would have known where he was buried. I would love to know how they found their way there.

Thank you for sharing, Sophie. How do we think that those teeth got there? Is there a sceptical explanation? Email me, uncanny at bbc.co.uk. I'll be back here tomorrow.
