47, you know what we do. There goes my hero.
Craig Carton (0:15)
Take those pictures back, check it out.
Chris McMonigle (0:18)
Went from a non-singing drummer to the front man of one of the great American rock bands of all time.
Craig Carton (0:24)
No joke, Dave Grohl, one of the greats.
Chris McMonigle (0:26)
Da-da-da-da, I just had a baby with the g'mod.
Craig Carton (0:31)
I don't know, did he just have that or has it been a little while?
SPEAKER_3 (0:33)
It's a year and a half ago, two years ago now.
Craig Carton (0:34)
It's been a little while.
Chris McMonigle (0:35)
I always think, like, if you get caught cheating, but you have a baby, most women love babies. Can I?
Craig Carton (0:45)
No, I don't think they like their husbands fathering other ones.
Chris McMonigle (0:48)
No, but like, what are you going to do?
Craig Carton (0:50)
Yes, you're going to be pissed.
Chris McMonigle (0:53)
Yes, but then you bring the baby over.
Craig Carton (0:56)
No. Look at the baby. Yeah.
Chris McMonigle (0:58)
What, are you not going to be a part of a baby's life?
Craig Carton (1:00)
Of course, and then it's the sibling of your children.
Chris McMonigle (1:03)
Right.
Craig Carton (1:04)
I mean, but... Like, yeah, the father's got to be around. You think it's an... So this is how you think it goes, hon.
Chris McMonigle (1:10)
If you're going to cheat, have a baby.
Craig Carton (1:12)
I got to tell you something. I'm sick about it, but in a moment of weakness, on the road...
Chris McMonigle (1:17)
I am a rock star.
Craig Carton (1:19)
On the road, I had an affair. And then she goes, you son of a... But wait, wait, she's pregnant.
Chris McMonigle (1:26)
Yes!
Craig Carton (1:27)
Congratulations! Yeah, I think so. Is it a boy or a girl? What number, you guys? What name are you thinking? Remember how we didn't go with Steven? You should do Steven.
Chris McMonigle (1:35)
That's in my dream.
Craig Carton (1:36)
You think that's how it goes?
SPEAKER_4 (1:38)
I don't think so.
Craig Carton (1:39)
Something tells me it doesn't go that way. I think it makes it easier.
Chris McMonigle (1:44)
No, I really do. I disagree completely on that. I really do. I think the...
Craig Carton (1:48)
Because now that woman is in his life forever.
Chris McMonigle (1:51)
Because there's a child. Who doesn't love a child?
Craig Carton (1:55)
That's not fair. That's not a year yet.
Chris McMonigle (1:57)
Hey, say hi to Aunt Sarah.
Craig Carton (1:59)
No one's going to...
No one's going to... I'm sure the kid's going to be treated fine and they'll be civil and it'll...
SPEAKER_3 (2:06)
And he does have... Have brothers and sisters.
Craig Carton (2:08)
I'm assuming he has kids with his wife.
SPEAKER_3 (2:10)
He does. He does. I know for sure. He's got a daughter. He's got an older daughter who sings.
Chris McMonigle (2:12)
It's a whole to do in that family.
Craig Carton (2:14)
I can't imagine that's easier. I can't imagine the happiness of everybody loves a baby makes that... I would think it would make it more complicated, would be my guess.
Chris McMonigle (2:22)
I think if you got caught cheating on your wife, she's going to most likely drop your ass. Okay? All good there. But if you said, look, I'm not in love with the woman. I did it. I was in Ohio. It was snowing. The concert got canceled.
SPEAKER_4 (2:35)
What are you going to do?
Chris McMonigle (2:36)
I don't even remember it, but apparently I did it. I don't deny it. And now I'm having a baby. And I told her not to have the baby, but she wants to have the baby, so she's having the baby.
You have a choice. You're going to be a part of that baby's life, because I have to be. I'm the father. Right. Or you can walk away from all of us. I think the baby is even as a playing film.
You ask women, I can't even put a pulp there.
Craig Carton (3:01)
I hear what you're saying about the baby makes it easier to like.
Chris McMonigle (3:04)
Because she's going to see this beautiful little baby. She's going to be like most women are rightfully so.
Innocent little baby.
Craig Carton (3:10)
Yes, you'll feel that baby's innocent.
Chris McMonigle (3:12)
I want to be in the baby's life. So men, if you're cheating, get pregnant.
That's the answer. That's the answer.
Craig Carton (3:21)
That might be the best advice you've ever given to anybody.
