Paul Heath (0:14)
Unbelievable.

And now, NFL Network is on the ESPN app. More football, more coverage, more ways to watch. Football's on, all season long, on ESPN and streaming on the ESPN app.

Mark Duffield (0:59)
Yeah, it's time for the Electric Moment of the Week thanks to Verizon Perth. A new era of commercial transport has arrived in Western Australia. We've got a couple of good ones, I reckon, today, Paul Heath.
Paul Heath (1:11)
I think I've been taking the new ball, so why don't you go first this week?
Mark Duffield (1:14)
All right. Well, the Swans were absolutely magnificent against Brisbane at the weekend. They had done more so than Errol Gulden, and there was no moment more indicative of the way they went about things than his goal in the third quarter.
SPEAKER_5 (1:28)
This is a huge centre bounce, and the conditions have stabilised too. It's very calm. This guy. Gulden wins the clearance, runs forward, handball, gets the handball received, kick the goal, Errol Gulden. Superstar stuff.
That's as good as it gets from Errol Gulden, from the centre clearance, stormed through the corridor, and has nailed the goal.
Mark Duffield (1:50)
So he wins it out of the middle, accelerates away from traffic, handballs to a teammate, gets it back, and snaps the goal from 35 metres. He's such a good kick. Once he decided he was going to take the responsibility for it, you knew he was going to kick the goal. And you liked it so much, you put goalski instead of goalie.
SPEAKER_1 (2:10)
Yeah, it was. Errol Gulden's goalski.
Paul Heath (2:12)
It goes to another level when it's that good.
Mark Duffield (2:13)
How close is it to goal of the year?
Paul Heath (2:16)
Oh, I think it's got to be up there. So what's leading goal of the year? Probably Jordan Dawson's effort.
That one on the wing where he has a couple of bounces and then slots it from about 50 I think that one's probably up there.
Mark Duffield (2:29)
Yeah, there's Hayden Young's against the Western Bulldogs.
Paul Heath (2:34)
Oh, yeah.
Mark Duffield (2:34)
Marvel, the left foot banana from the pocket.
Paul Heath (2:36)
That's not bad.
Mark Duffield (2:37)
There was another banana as well. And there was a Sam Draper goal in there somewhere that was pretty, pretty bloody good, the running Ruckman goal.
Probably a couple of Luke Jackson goals in there as well. Now, there was a grandstand finish in the first semi in the Waffle, and you've picked out a moment from there.
Paul Heath (2:52)
Yeah, Sam Van Diemen getting the goal, which sinks Perth and gets East Perth through to a final this week against Claremont.
SPEAKER_5 (2:58)
29 minutes. Oh, a great mark by Walsh.
The yupps are like, get it in there, son. Walsh plays on, kicks it long. East Perth need a mark. Comes to ground level. There's Van Diemen.
And East Perth will win it. What a goal by Sam Van Diemen. And they have got berserk here. What a goal. In the left full-floor pocket.
Mark Duffield (3:27)
What a goal, what a game. Yeah. The last 10 minutes of that game were absolutely electric. Great atmosphere out there at Mineral Resources Park. I feel for the Demons. Yeah, it's a tough one. Because I think we all want to see the Demons do well, and they had their hearts absolutely broken. Charlie Constable had kicked a magnificent running goal from 60 metres to put them back in front. Typical captain's goal. Then a couple of big moments for Axel Walsh.
And then Sam Van Diemen, who'd also kicked a magnificent goal earlier in the game, which was a right-foot banana.
Down the other end from the opposite pocket, bobs up and kicks that one to put him in a prelim.
Paul Heath (4:08)
He's done very well. But it sounded like Pete and Stav got absolutely covered in beer. As that goal gets kicked, there's the crowd.
SPEAKER_1 (4:15)
It might have been their own beer. Yeah, it could have been. The way they were going.
