Guenther Steiner (0:38)
Hello, Wankers.
Brian Muller (0:40)
What's up, Wankers?
Matt Elisofon (0:42)
Greetings, Wankers. Singapore, Guenther.
Hot, wet, sticky, sexy. Were you upset that you weren't there?
Guenther Steiner (0:55)
No, because it's too hot, it's too sticky, and not enough sexy for me, so I was pretty good at home.
Matt Elisofon (1:04)
It seems sexy after the fact. There was videos of the guys clubbing, but we were hoping for a little bit more sexiness on track, which we did not receive, unfortunately. But it seems like people over there have a good time, Guenther.
I bet that the accommodations are very nice.
Guenther Steiner (1:18)
The parking is good, the accommodation are nice, the food is good, all the things Matt likes. They are all good in Singapore. All the things I like.
Brian Muller (1:27)
You couldn't have been happier about the Madrid race because you said the parking was good.
Guenther Steiner (1:32)
Nobody asked you a question, so continue, Brian.
Matt Elisofon (1:36)
Well, you must have been so happy, Guenther, also because you said that Max Verstappen was going to win one more race for the end of the year, and he got his one race in. He did it. He won his one race.
Guenther Steiner (1:46)
Maybe he's going to win one more now, you know?
It's an evolution, you know? It's an evolution distinction, you know? I mean, actually, I think everybody noticed that he won. He won quite a bit last weekend. It was last weekend, yeah. He won quite a bit.
Sprint, bowl, sprint, bowl, race. I mean, you know, pretty good, huh? For somebody I told a month ago, he will not win a race. But anyway, live and learn, live and learn.
Matt Elisofon (2:17)
Yeah, that's right.
Brian Muller (2:19)
So, how many do we think he's winning now? Because, yes, like a month ago you said no more wins, no wins, zero wins. Then after his first win, you said maybe he'll win one more.
How many wins have you given him now?
Matt Elisofon (2:36)
Jesus. Starting off hot, Guenther.
Guenther Steiner (2:42)
Two, two more, two more.
Brian Muller (2:43)
Two more.
Guenther Steiner (2:44)
Okay.
Matt Elisofon (2:45)
Six, we got six races left. You think there's two more wins in there. We can go over that. In theory, there's six races left. We'll see what happens at the end of the year. But no, there's so much to discuss because not only did Max Verstappen win his second race in a row, looked dominant throughout the entire weekend, finally get the Singapore monkey off his back. There's also more drama with Ferrari as always. Are they prioritizing Charlotte Claire in a way that is detrimental to the team? Obviously, the Lando Norris villain turn and subsequent backlash from both the public and from the higher ups. We'll discuss that. What would you do if you were Zach Brown in that type of situation? And there's chaos among the field. Is Liam Lawson not long for Formula 1? Who's replacing Esteban Ocon? All that and more on this episode of Vanka Hours, part of the Vox Media Network.
Before we get to all of that, let's cue the music.
And we're back. Okay, Guenther, we're going to need your Rockstar and your Wanker for the Singapore Grand Prix. Guenther, who was your Rockstar for Singapore?
Guenther Steiner (4:20)
This time, it is Max. Last time, we gave it to Laurent because he has got the long hair. This time, it's Max. You know, I mean, he can't do... He didn't do anything wrong, you know, difficult situations. He just went through it and delivered.
Pretty simple.
Brian Muller (4:39)
How terrified do you think the rest of the grid is right now?
Guenther Steiner (4:44)
I think they're terrified of Max wins races, but I think in the championship, they are not terrified anymore about the championship, you know, because, I mean, yeah, they are terrified not to finish seconds, but nobody really cares about that one anyway, except the guy which finishes second, you know. So, it's, but nobody is terrified. Everybody, I think more of terrified, it's surprised how they turned it around. But it's not the first time. I mean, it's like, you know, the race before was good, but this one, it was just like dominant, you know.
