The movie is a delightful blend of comedy, action and adventure, with a runtime of 2 hours and 16 minutes, and it is rated PG-13. The plot centers around the Guardians, now recognized as heroes as they embark on a mission to protect valuable batteries for the sovereign race. However, Rockets, voiced by Bradley Cooper, mischievous theft of these batteries, sets off a chain of events that leads to a galaxy-wide chase. The team consisting of Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt, Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, Drax, played by Dave Bautista, and Baby Groot, voiced by Vin Diesel, finds themselves facing new threats and uncovering the truth about Star-Lord's heritage. James Gunn's direction shines through with his signature blend of humor and heart. The film opens with a memorable sequence featuring Baby Groot dancing to electric light orchestras Mr. Blue Sky, setting the tone for a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously.
