All right, how's it going, everybody? My name is Antonio, and I hope you had a great week. I know your portfolio probably did because the junior indices are all up nicely. GDXJ, SALJ, CobJ, all doing very well this week, but it could be a dead-can bounce. I want to be a party something, but I hope you know, because I don't, and I'll be looking out for your comments on this, and hopefully one of you has a crystal ball, because while I do have balls, allegedly, well, none of them are crystal. Now, I'm not here to do macro, though. I'm here to just go over which junior mining stocks moved this week and why, so I'll quickly run through the gainers and the losers of this week, as well as the reason behind the move. But again, I'm not here to give any opinions, just the facts and then maybe a couple of questions that I would ask management if I were talking to them. These weekly updates are powered by mininghub.com, by the way. It's the platform that I'm going to be using here to get the list of movers, and it's also a free research platform that you can just create your own login for and use it just like I will in here. That will also, by the way, deliver a daily email with junior mining news for Canada and then a separate one for the ASX to your inbox. Again, it's free. Now, what they're showing me here, at least for this overview for this week, the first one is Getty Copper. That's up 409%.
But not really. This was just a rollback. They did a five-for-one rollback and I guess it's just not yet reflected in here, but don't get too excited. Unfortunately, there's no five-bagger this week, at least. So we'll see what happens next week.
First Canadian Graphite is doing decently though. It's doing well. It's up 39%.
Now to a market cap of $17.1 million on, it's actually less than its usual volume. It did $121,000 worth of volume and it's listed under the ticket symbol FCI. Although the stock is now doing well, it's actually still not recovered from the fall that it had since mid-March. I think it peaked at 60 cents in mid-March.
Not much of an active week for them.
They did have some news on Monday, but most of the move actually didn't happen until Thursday. So it doesn't win half of the trading volume occurred by the way in one day on Thursday. So I'm not sure that this week was not the news driving the price, I don't think. But what they announced is that FieldCruise had mobilized at its flagship, Black-Gurée or South Graphite Project in Quebec's Côte Nord region to begin the 2026 exploration program. They're going to be targeting a newly identified kilometer scale EM anomaly, electromagnetic anomaly, plus some high-grade graphite zones from a recent airborne EM magnetic survey. So the initial work here includes beep mat groundwork as well. There's going to be prospecting and geological mapping, grab sampling, structural analysis, all the fun stuff with mechanical stripping and channel sampling planned for the fall, all of which ahead of a resource drilling program in the late fall. So that's really what's moving on here.
This zone they're following up on does host the historical, so it's a non-compliant resource of 1.76 million tons indicated at 17% and 1.5 million tons inferred at 16.4%. Though I know less about Graphite than I do about my wife's feelings. And after I think 12 years now, I'm, I don't know who I'm getting as I have no idea what she's feeling. But if I were talking to management right now, I'd definitely ask about that zone 13 and how they're weighing the EM conductor relative to the known high grade zones. Because conductance is alone, they don't always correlate with Graphite grade or thickness in the district, especially in this district historically. So I want to know what makes them confident enough to drill this specific one. And also for the channel samples, I would want to know if and how that would work here, just in general, specifically here, because Graphite mineralization in the Tadepisco area is, what's not always, but I've been told, it's often strongly foliation controlled. So structural complexity does matter when doing these channel samples, and then especially when you want to use them for targeting of drilling, which is obviously deeper than a channel sample. So I also wonder how much of an asset that historic data is in figuring all this out and whether it can be used without re-drilling most of the holes that the old timers drilled. Because the original QA, QC, and core recovery details that I could find just quickly going through it, they're not in a public record, or at least I couldn't find them. So we have plenty for a good CEO BBQ here. If you know anyone within management, shoot me an email and I'll try to get them on an interview. My email address is antonio at resourcetalks.com. So yeah, shoot me an email, an intro email if you know them. A bit more is happening here with Freeman Gold Corp. It's listed as F man. I'm just glad it's not F you, man. Although that would be fitting for our sector. It's up almost 36% of Freeman and on a lot of volume too, at least relative to what it usually does. It did three and a half times its normal volume this week. It's up to $1.3 million worth of volume, which is a lot for a junior in a market cap. Right under $120 million now. A lot of that volume actually did happen on the day that they had news this week. So this I think is news related. They had news on Monday, though the stock actually did keep running after that as well. It closed higher every day of the week. And that was after they announced the feasibility study for the 100% owned Lemme Gold Project, which is right over here. You can see in Idaho. And it's showing a proven and probable reserve of a million ounces of gold. It's a post-tax NPV-5 of almost $700 million US dollars. The IRR is 34.4%.
