Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile.

Kyle Thompson (0:01)

Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month is back.

SPEAKER_1 (0:08)

So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills. But it turns out that's very illegal.

Granger Smith (0:16)

So there goes my big idea for the commercial.

Kyle Thompson (0:18)

Give it a try at mintmobile.com/switch.

SPEAKER_1 (0:21)

Up from payment of $45 for three months, $90 for six months or $180 for 12 month plan required, $15 per month equivalent, taxes and fees extra, initial plan term only, greater than 50 gigabytes may slow when network is busy, suffering from dry, tired, irritated eyes.

Kyle Thompson (0:32)

Don't let dry eyes win.

SPEAKER_1 (0:34)

Use Sustain Pro. It hydrates, restores and protects dry eyes for up to 12 hours. Sustain Pro, Triple Action Dry Eye Relief.

Kyle Thompson (0:42)

Let's be honest, most men drift. We wake up, we scroll, we work and then we just rinse and repeat. And we know we're softer than we should be.

That's why I built the 31 Day Resilience Reset. This is not a devotional. It is a field manual for men ready to stop drifting and start fighting back. So, for 31 days, you'll train your spirit, mind and body with scripture, prayer and daily challenges that forge real resilience. Go to www.Undaunted.Life.31 Days to download this resource for free. That's Undaunted.Life.31 Days. Start your reset today.

This is Undaunted.Life.A Man's Podcast. I'm your host, Kyle Thompson. Let's get into it. Granger Smith, welcome to Oklahoma. You made it.

Granger Smith (1:37)

It's good to be here.

Kyle Thompson (1:38)

I know you've never been to Oklahoma, right? You've never really been here. It's your Texas guys. That's the thing. When I talk to people from Texas or they live in Texas, they look at Oklahoma like that persnickety little brother. They're just like, they don't ever want to talk to them. You're putting words in my mouth. I'm not saying that. That's what you were saying when I was driving you to the hotel last night. But we're happy to have you.

Granger Smith (1:57)

I'll tell you, I came here from Tennessee, spent a few days there.

Tennessee is so beautiful. I used to live there a very long time ago, the trees, the hills. But as we were coming in in the plane yesterday, and I looked out of the window and I saw Oklahoma.

Kyle Thompson (2:16)

Why did you make this motion?

Granger Smith (2:17)

Because it feels like home. I'm serious.

We're our brothers. There's no need to say little or big. But I thought it feels like home.

Kyle Thompson (2:28)

Yeah. What's funny is I love Texas. Okay, so people in Oklahoma, they get way too much into the OU Texas thing, right?

And I didn't grow up, my family didn't care about sports and all that, so I never really got it. Like, Texas always just felt like a bigger, cockier Oklahoma.

Granger Smith (2:45)

Well, I'm an Aggie fan. I went to Texas A&M, so I'm out of all of this argument. And I totally agree with you. I totally agree with you.

Kyle Thompson (2:52)

So we do need to talk about this. This A&M thing keeps coming up, all right? So everyone knows A&M like in terms of football, they're just not relevant. They haven't won anything since the 1930s. It doesn't really matter.

The yell leader stuff, the all white, and I've had it explained to me. They're like, no, like I had a guy, he went to A&M, his dad went to A&M, grandpa went to A&M, Matt Chandler's big A&M guy. I don't even think he attended there, but he intended to before the Lord yanked him into another track or whatever. But to an outsider, right? To me, to a guy that went to the University of Central Oklahoma that just loves watching college football, it's weird. It's the weirdest thing in the world to me. And it's like, tell me it's not a cult. Like explain it to me in terms that I can understand, like I'm five years old. Like because I love tradition. Like we rode here today to the studio and my grandpa's 1979 Ford truck. The whole reason we have that truck is because of legacy. That was my grandpa's truck. Then it was my dad's truck. Now it's my truck. And then it's going to go to James and Eli, right? Like that's the whole deal.

I just don't get it. It's just strange to me. And so like I want to understand, I am seeking to understand, help me understand.
