Holy God, what are you showing me? Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to another Weekly Geek, this time featuring The Wailers. I am your breaking down Kirkland Patzer.
Dylan Moss (0:16)
Hello, my name is Dylan Moss. Yeah, I feel like it's been a minute since we've had a Wailer. We did a side quest recently, but since we've done a Weekly Geek, The Wailers have been on the bench, I think.
Kirkland Patzer (0:25)
I feel like we had a Weekly Geek like less than a month ago. We are in October now, and it's already halfway through October. I feel like there was one in September because at that time, it felt like it had been a very long time, and then you reminded me, it's like, well, we got a side quest coming up, so it was like a nice little two-week, you and me. But nonetheless, I'm glad it's just the two of us, hopefully for the whole cast, we'll see.
But yes, ladies and gentlemen, we got a, I mean, it's kind of side quest-themed with, we got a GTA trailer to break down and talk to you about.
I will bring up the trailer so we can kind of go through it. If there's any major crazy deets that you want to break down. We'll get our thoughts there and got some updates with, what was it called, my gosh, the Marvel Zombies special and a couple little Marvel BS meters topics that we'll go through. And then, of course, we'll discuss what we've been watching anything and what that might be. So that's kind of the little rundown of what you got for this week's show. But yeah, I don't know. Do you want to end off with what we've been watching or do you want to start it now? I feel like we usually break bread at the start of these episodes, try to be a little bit like, informal. So it's like, oh yeah, how you've been doing? I guess I could just say that. It sucks because I kind of did this before cast. So it's like, I just want to recapture that magic.
Dylan Moss (1:49)
I feel like sometimes we just got to enter the StreamYard room and just hit play. But sometimes it's nice for some of our life to not be recorded.
Travis (1:56)
That's a good point. Yeah.
SPEAKER_4 (1:57)
If I'm like, hey, how's it going?
Kirkland Patzer (1:58)
It's like some tragic thing that you're like, okay, we'll end the cast here.
Dylan Moss (2:02)
I might just not talk about that. But I mean, I think that we can start with what we're watching. I think it's pretty short for me.
I'll say what I've been listening to because you can see everything is coming out. Well, I guess it's out tonight, rather, is the Nathan Field documentary.
Kirkland Patzer (2:20)
I don't think we have showings here for that, unfortunately.
Dylan Moss (2:23)
Yeah. Apparently, it's only at Landmark. I think there are some showings here, so I'm probably going to go see that in the next few days. I'm not seeing it tonight, obviously, but I'm going to go see that in the next few days. But I was excited for this because it's Nathan Field. There's an ex-project and he's always doing weird, cool stuff. Elizabeth Holmes, though, whose documentary is about, I didn't really know anything about her. In the last couple of weeks, I've been listening to some podcasts and just also doing some research on my own. I did learn about what was going on with this woman and this company that she started and all the fraud and all this interesting stuff and so many rabbit holes with it and how odd of a person she is and the things she did.
That has been a good what I've been listening to because now I feel like I am caught up. I feel like I have good context going into the documentary. I was debating should I just go in cold and just let it take me where it takes me, but I think I'm glad that I got some of this background information. I'm sure it'll make it just even more enjoyable when I finally get to it.
Hopefully, on my next Weekly Geek, or maybe we'll do a review or something. I don't know who's seen it. I guess you guys don't have a showings in Kelowna, so we'll see when you see it. But that is definitely what I'm most looking forward to coming up soon here. Other than that, whatever, I think I've just been watching Jeopardy Kirkland. That's what I've been doing, just putting on a nice light Jeopardy.
