GLM 5.3 Flash + OpenCode is now FREE!

Glm 5.3 Flash is now free inside OpenCode. So this means that you can start building for free with Glm 5.3 Flash. Now, how do you get access to it? So basically, what you can do is you can go to opencode.ai, then you can download it like so. And from here, once you've got that set up, you can open up like this. Now, if you've already got an installation of OpenCode plugged in, then you just want to make sure that you check for updates, like you can see we're doing right here. Then we're going to get that new update, as you can see. And now if we open up a new session, we're going to type in glm5.3-flash-free.

This is a version. There's a glm5.3, don't use that. There's a glm5.3-flash, don't use that. You want to use glm5.3-flash-free.

And just something to bear in mind here is that it's a 200k token context window. Often see this with free models on OpenCode, but that's okay. And then you've got the model, the provider, etc. So this is actually provided by OpenCode.

And then we're going to just select that from models list. And from here, we can start building it. So for example, hey, can you just build a website for me? Just to test it actually works.

One thing to note is like you might get rate limited. Typically you do with free models, but you can see it's thinking here, and it's using that free model like so. Pretty awesome. That just got announced today. Now you can see here that it says endpoint unavailable. So it did struggle first time around. Let's just check if it works first, second time. And now you can see it's actually working. Beautiful. So this is pretty awesome. Now one thing to note as well is like you can actually plug this into your Gentic operating system. So for example, we have Hermes, with Claude, with OpenCode, with Mission Control, et cetera, all inside one place.

And then if we want a free model, we can just switch over to OpenCode. Bear in mind that DeepSeek V41 Flash is free. Glm 5.3, Flash is free, Big Pickle, CatJamp, which is extremely fast. You can use all these free models and just code and vibe code for free, which is pretty awesome. And then inside our Gentic operating system workspace, you can see you got previews of everything over here. You can even, for example, get Hermes Agent, and then you can use the free version of DeepSeek V41 Flash, or for example, CatJamp, or even Glm Models directly inside Hermes Agent, and then use it to code with Hermes Agent directly as well. So a pretty cool way to basically get the free brain and then plug it into your favorite systems.
